  2. You mean like Joe Borchard? It's nice to see this guy is on your s*** list. It really means he sucks. For the sake of staying out of arguments try not to say everything as it is fact. You know nothing more than any other draft expert who said he should be picked here. You are welcome to your opinion as is he, but there is no need for him to continue to repeat himself.
  3. That curve was disgusting. Oh my god we better sign this guy.
  4. He is the younger brother though. He's not in the draft.

  6. Ok, that's what I thought but I wasn't sure.
  7. Yeah I screwed up and edited. The radio cast said the 8th was starting when it was actually done and screwed me up. It's very hard to follow this.
  8. While listening to the radio show the guy said that the Tigers and White Sox had impressed him with some picks and were aggressive in going after young pitching. The Sox really are stacking up the need positions. Whether it's intentional or not I don't know.
  9. We picked Rex Adams 2B Miami (yay, maybe a guy we can watch in the CWS) Didn't see any info on these guys. 10. Haha, ok. It is a common name after all. Just wondering with our history of picking in the family.
  11. Ryan McCarthy 3B UCLA. Related to BMAC?
  12. 7th and 8th. The 9th is just starting. EDIT: The radio cast was wrong when they said start of 8th round. That screwed me up sorry.
  13. 7th round: Tim Murphey LHP HS 8th round: Nicholas Lemon RHP BYU
  14. Could, you never know until they reach the bigs.
  15. Fotop That is exactly my thinking. It's good to have great athletes because they can be moved around. It's hard to say how long it will take him, but Crede has time to develop still. Fields isn't that close.
  16. Click where it says listen to the draft. Yes, it's free.
  17. Go to the FutureSox board and read the 18 pages on the Official Draft Thread. mlb.com has a radio feed and there is some info on the players there.
  18. I voted for Pulp Fiction, it's now tied at 5.
  19. We got the idea quit b****ing about it.
  20. Sox just redrafted a RHP Adam Russell.
  21. The video feed showed some video of Alan. He looks like a solid player. He has a big build and is a LH HSer. 1B/OF. With our system it is likely he will play 1B. He seemed to have a smooth swing, obviously he is going to be somewhat raw coming out of HS.
  22. Well said. I don't see us necessarily going after an OF or even a 3B, but Fields and Szymanski would be one of those with the first pick. I'm really big on drafting really athletic players. Both also played football and seem to have major potential considering they are tearing it up. Fields hasn't fully committed to baseball until now so once he plays full time he should improve. Szymanski didn't even play his freshman year I believe and look at him now. It's that kind of stuff that tells me they have somewhat high ceilings as well as being more experienced and proven than HSers. I'm excited, but I'm missing the start of the draft because I have a final to take. Oh well, I'm hoping to come home to see one of those 2 taken by the Sox.
  23. Done and done. I hope we get Fields.
