  1. That's why I edit all your work on FS. I edited all 3 articles. All of them had mistakes.
  2. That's what we said at the beginning of the year with Nanita. I feel bad for Nanita and Rogowski here. Rogo is putting up similar numbers to Becker, but didn't get promoted. Meanwhile Nanita has back to back 2 hit games and gets demoted. Imagine this from the manager: "Nice game today. It looks like you are turning a corner. Oh by the way, you got demoted to Kannapolis." Just ouch. Though I have to say it's about time Brice got promoted.
  3. BMac rules! Damn shame Brice won't be in the game. I hope the Sox demote him for a bit just so he can play in the game as a favor of sorts. And Jason, Australia is a proper noun, you have it lower case in 2 articles. :dips***
  4. Radke has thrown 5 straight quality starts with an ERA of 1.80 during the stretch. Nice curse Jason....though feel free to keep it as a good luck charm for my fantasy team.
  5. Boston hasn't won any in a while and they are a big market.
  6. In the long term I think it would pay off for the Cubs, but the immediate reaction would be that the Sox fans (let's face it the Cubs have no reason to leave) would be bitter towards baseball as a whole. The Cubs wouldn't gain fans for a generation. Where would the Sox go anyway? What market could support a MLB team? Charlotte? DC? Vegas? Portland?
  7. Doesn't this happen every year with Bears first rounders? Please correct me as I am not a Bears fan (the Bears are like the Cubs since 85, a lot of local hype and a lot of failed expectations), but they have had a lot of holdouts in recent years.
  8. Exactly. They are the superior team. They should have swept. The 2-3-2 makes sense from a logistical standpoint because of the travel.
  9. The SEC could have had 6 if Florida and Vandy pulled off upsets. Anyone notice only 1 super regional went to 3 games?
  10. I'm surprised it took people this long to notice we have as much of a history that looks cursed as Boston and the Cubs. Curses are bulls*** though. Still though, you could say it's the curse of the Black Sox if anything.
  11. What is with the lack of Kanny box scores the last couple days? They won their third straight 5-4...
  12. From the Intimidators website on yesterday's game.
  13. The funny thing is that he was 2-31 in AAA.
  14. Spend the prospects elsewhere. Agreed. However, I might think of trading Maggs for Beltran if we knew we couldn't sign Maggs and had already signed Beltran long term. Then the Royals could deal Maggs for prospects. Granted this was assanine and right out of my ass so don't think I want this to happen.
  15. Kenny Ray I don't know what he was doing from 2000-2002, but he has no prospect status being a 30 year old in the Carolina League. BTW, Nanita shares his birthday with me so I'm happy he was able to get himself a good game today.
  16. This from someone who was 2 when MJ won his first title. Not to say I'm much older, but he was an amazing player. When you are the best player to ever play the game, it's not an ego, it's knowing yourself.
  17. Thanks. I share it with Ricardo Nanita. Watch him hit a couple HRs today.
  18. Yeah. The plan was to get it out earlier, but we had some delays and Jason basically became a lazy bum. Well ok, I lied, he already was a lazy bum. He just showed it in this case. I found the stats on a bunch of the guys and took care of the formatting and cerb and others that I can't remember (sorry guys) did write ups on the guys. Basically it was almost done and then by the time Jason was going to get around to posting it, the rankings were not updated and a lot of the write ups were out of date. We should get it going after the draft because that postponed updating the top 50.
  19. I'm watching Long Beach State vs. Arizona Game 1. LBSU looks like an average-good team with Jered Weaver. He leaves with a 5-2 lead in the 8th and now it's 6-5 Arizona in the 9th. I'm rooting for Zona for the simple reason that Brian Anderson went there. The freaky thing is LBSU has a pitcher named Brian Anderson, and he pitched in the game. Thoughts on Weaver even though no one asked: He has good stuff, but Arizona's hitters were chasing stuff way out of the zone. Once he faces patient hitters his walks should sky rocket and his Ks will dramatically fall. Overall I thought he isn't ready for the bigs like the announcers were saying. Then again they were annoying the hell out of me by kissing his ass.
  20. What other article? EDIT: Nevermind, you have put in the wrong time or something and it was programmed. I put it up.
