This was rumored to go down a while ago. The question is why in the hell did the Jazz leave him unprotected.

I'd go for sure. You know I'm dying to meet you. Ok, I'm sorry. That was pretty mean and uncalled for, but I couldn't help myself.

I'm not surprised. She always came off as a skank. And I heard she was sleeping with a crew member during survivor 1. Who would want to f*** these people when they aren't eating enough, infested with germs, and without a shower for a while. :puke
-
Well if that's how you feel....
-
I'm not doubting you. I'm just reporting facts.

I saw that both of the rosters at Great Falls and Bristol are huge. How big can they be in these rookie leagues?

Mandy Moore is just not hot. The reason you guys like her is because she is not as hot as others so you think she is a nicer girl. You naturally think a hotter blond is high maintenance.

I tried searching for it, but all I can come up with is I swear I remember something about him trying to rehab it without surgery. Sorry I can't give you the thread so this has little validity, lol.

That's what I'm thinking. For pitchers it would seem to be an easier transition though. He still has to throw the same stuff while hitters like Fields have to adjust to better pitching and wood bats. Of course it's a bigger adjustment to the better pitching for high school hitters which is why all of them are at Bristol.

I know Rex had some doubts as to whether Rauch would be a starter or not. Here is an article saying Rauch is scheduled to start Thursday,

Gonzales found his way onto the Bristol roster. I'm surprised they are babying him so after rushing Fields and Lumsden to high A.

The odds of a minor leaguer turning into a good player are a lot less than $$ that sign a vet turning into a good player.

I can't imagine T Mac is worth that much. Francis and a 2nd rounder for T Mac in my book. Watch T Mac become just another good shooting guard that should have been but never was once he either gets a team around him or is traded to a new team. Carter, Penny, and others. If the Rockets are trading the Franchise, Mobley, and Cato for T Mac they are seriously idiots. Hopefully the Bulls don't take Deng or Igoudala. Neither of these guys thrills me. Trade the pick.

That's what they did with Toronto and Vancouver, but there is only one team now. I remember when B.J. Armstrong was the first pick of the expansion draft.

The point remains that it's only June and the deadline is July 31st. It's probably not that KW isn't trying to make a deal, but other teams are waiting for the deadline to come. Most teams are reluctant before the deadline because they feel other offers could come closer to the deadline.

That would be the day.... Joe Crede would play everyday. Konerko and Thomas would be put at other infield positions than 1st when we are getting our asses kicked. No player would ever be allowed to bunt. We would run a lot more than even Ozzie does. Jeremy Reed would get called up (Oh wait, that would be if I was GM... ) Jose Valentin would be benched. Carlos Lee would never see the outfield again... Wouldn't that be great?
-
Well yeah, that would be the idea.

B Mac has been absolutely sick his last few starts. Great Falls lost 7-0. Box Score

Actually the Bulls is from the stock market. Bulls and Bears are trends in the market. And witesoxfan, that Dutch Boyd quote you have is great. I used to have that in my AIM profile.

Sorry I spoke too soon. You seem to be repeating yourself a lot around here.

Honel and Pacheco Return to Action Kris Honel returns from injury By Danny Santaromita Kris Honel, the White Sox 1st round pick in 2001, made his long awaited return to the mound today as he pitched one inning of relief. Honel has been out since opening day when he left after 4 innings due to soreness in his shoulder. Originally it seemed Honel would only miss one or two starts, but that turned into over 2 months. Joining Honel in returning today for the Barons was Enemencio Pacheco. Pacheco was acquired from Colorado for Sandy Alomar Jr. in 2002. Pacheco walked 2 in 2.1 innings of hitless ball while Honel only allowed one baserunner, a walk, in one inning. Both pitchers came out of the bullpen. The Barons lost the game 4-2 in the final game of the first half of the season. Last season in 24 starts and 6 relief appearances Pacheco had a 2.56 ERA with a 12-2 record with the Barons. The 25 year-old started the season with Charlotte and in 18.2 innings of work, most of it out of the bullpen, he had an 0-1 record with a 4.82 ERA. Last year the 21 year-old Honel had a 3.11 ERA in 24 starts at Winston-Salem and made two starts at Birmingham posting a 3.75 ERA there. The Birmingham Barons have been decimated with pitching injuries this season. Ryan Wing has been out the whole season. Kris Honel got injured opening day. The original rotation this season was Honel, Arnie Munoz, Ryan Meaux, Tetsu Yofu, and Heath Phillips. Ryan Wing would have been part of the rotation, but his injury has prevented that. Since then Munoz saw a horrific start for the White Sox and has since been sent down to Charlotte. Ryan Meaux was moved to the bullpen after early season struggles. Yofu was promoted to Charlotte. Add Honel's injury to that list and the Barons have had to scramble for starters. Jim Bullard, Dennis Ulacia, and Eduardo Villacis among others have been forced into the rotation. Finally some relief is on the way as Kris Honel and Enemencio Pacheco have joined the team.

It was 3 games ya know. Did you see the game today Rex? If so how did they look?

The Knights lost 8-5 to Rochester. Nelson went 3-5 with an RBI. Valdez (the guy we got in the Koch trade) went 2-4 with a stolen base, a walk and a run. Reed went 1-4 with a double, walk, and a run. Borchard had a 2 run HR, his 12th on the season. Box Score The Barons lost 4-2 to Huntsville. The Barons managed only 2 hits. Martel hit a HR and Huntsville pitcher Mike Jones walked a run in (4 straight walks). Pacheco and Honel returned. Pacheco pitched 2.1 innings of hitless ball with 2 walks. Honel pitched 1 inning of hitless ball with 1 walk. Box Score Winston-Salem won 4-3. Anderson went 1-2 with a double, 2 RBI, and 2 walks. Sweeney went 1-4. Fields 0-4 with 2 Ks is yet to get a professional hit. Sean Tracey had a nice start (6 IP, 1 run). Box Score

Well that's interesting. He is leading the International League in ERA so you'd think he could do something. I'm just surprised he got called up after what KW said. Maybe this is a ploy to raise his trade value.
