The point is the trio there have never been a battery so how can they be 'the battery more people trust'?
-
It is, but this way the Bobcats can work some trades and get some quality players. Soon enough they could be an up and coming power. That is if they are going to make some moves to be competitive.
-
I like both, but dasox's is kinda innaccurate because 'the battery more people trust' with Olivo and Buehrle. They never work together.

Bobcats get some players They all suck though lol. Fizer better be prepared to be on an awful team. Thankfully for him he will get some playing time and probably start if they don't trade him. Gerald Wallace and Jahidi White were other notables taken. I wish Fizer luck in Charlotte. I think he will make it. He lives a few minutes away from me.

Kurt Suzuki is a freaking stud. I wish the Sox took him. He is a great leader, knows what has to be done and goes out and does it. He has good control of his pitchers, good defensively, power hitter. Damnit.

DBAHO had a couple Sweeney pics in his old sig so ask him where he got them. I tried to get a pic of Anderson for my sig but it's very hard to google them because Brian Anderson is such a common name (even within baseball).

I always liked Ashley better anyway. That's sad because she doesn't need to be that skinny.

A knuckle curve isn't a knuckle ball, it's a curve ball that breaks harder. I don't know the mechanics of it, but I know that much.

He has been a starter throughout his time in the Sox system, but it will depend on how he recovers from his injury. I'm sure the Sox want to put him back in the rotation.

Lumsden and Gonzalez Make Their Debuts; Other News
danman31 replied to Chisoxfn's topic in FutureSox Board
It was great to see Gio dominate like that right out of the gate. I was worried he would struggle considering that he hasn't pitched organized baseball in a while. They said he was still pitching after getting kicked off his HS team so it's showing. Hopefully they give him a start at Bristol soon and if he does well he should get moved up. -
I know, it's ironic isn't it?
-
LMAO I feel the same way. For some reason I'm agreeing with him. I'm agreeing with him because he is right.

What 1st round picks have signed so far? I was looking through the rosters of some teams to see where teams put their first rounders, but only 1 guy picked before Fields are on a minor league roster. Then again for some reason the Arizona League rosters weren't available so that might cover a few picks. I was somewhat surprised, but then I thought about it and realized these guys are getting ridiculous bonuses now a days that have to be negotiated. If you are curious, the one player picked in the top 17 that is already on a minor league roster is Billy Butler (14th pick Royals, sent to Rookie level Idaho Falls). So my question is do any of you have a website that has the signing status of the first rounders? I looked on BA and didn't find anything.

Great Falls lost 9-3. Duechler and Kelly with 2 more hits each. Box Score

I always said she wasn't that hot. That picture really needs to be deleted or shrunk. I'm nautious.

This is something you should have posted in the first case. It further makes your point. To say I didn't think is rude and uncalled for because regardless of the fact that the Sox look bad teams slump. When Maggs comes back there is a major boost to the offense. Are you going to tell me the Cubs are now all of a sudden playing better because the rest of the team picked it up, not that Prior and Sosa are back? Sure everyone has injuries, but they still effect teams greatly. That is ignorant for you to think otherwise. Other than the boost Maggs will have in the lineup, granted they will be somewhat slight improvements from what the RFers are bringing, but there will also be a big mental boost.

Why did you make that 2 different posts? STOP SPAMMING!!!

Bristol opened it's season with an 11-3 shalacking, lol. Evan Tartaglia had 2 hits. Gio Gonzalez struck out the side in an inning of relief. Why is this guy at Bristol? Box Score

To be honest I'd like to see Reed get some time off. If he is really nursing an injury the Knights should see this combined with his recent struggles (well struggles by his standards) and give around a week off. It worked with Anderson. He was doing awful before he took a week off, came back and is now on the Carolina League All-Star team.... I'm just saying that if Reed is really hurt, let him heal instead of forcing him to play through it. The Warthogs opened up the 2nd half with a 6-3 win over Frederick. Fields had 2 singles (infield and one back through the middle, I was listening to Warthog radio). Gonzalez had 3 doubles and 3 runs. Lumsden had 2 perfect innings with 3 Ks. Box Score

How can we be seeing the real White Sox when our best hitter, Maggs, is hurt?
-
From sportsnetwork yes, but not from USA Today, BA, or ESPN.

Charlotte won 5-4. Reed 1-3 with an RBI and a run. Borch 1-4 with a run. Josh Stewart got the win. Box Score

It's hard to know when they haven't played together yet. Dransfeldt was up in Chicago and we just got Valdez 2 days ago. We'll see in time.....
-
We need to score some f***ing runs. Geez. This is getting sad here. You don't realize how important Maggs really is until he is gone.
