That's exactly how I feel. I was going to say that but I milb.com wasn't working so I couldn't get the stats to back it up. Nanita isn't as good as Sweeney or Anderson as a prospect and he isn't doing as well. It all makes sense.

How long did that take you? 5 minutes?

Nobody has posted a game thread yet so here goes.... Charlotte lost 8-4 to Syracuse (Blue Jays). Reed went 0-1 with 3 walks and a run. Nelson continues his studliness with a 2-4 night with a HR. Borchard went 1-4 with an RBI. Kohlmeier got shelled. Box Score The Barons destroyed Jacksonville (Dodgers) 18-2. 6 Barons had multiple hits. Spidale 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 BB, 1 RBI. Morse 2 HRs for 5 RBI. Maldanado 3 hits, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 2 runs. McNeal 2-5, HR. Bikowski 3-5, HR, 5 RBI, 3 runs. Stewart 2-5, HR. Ulacia solid. Box Score The Hogs beat Kinston (Indians) 6-2. Sweeney 3-5, 1 RBI. Nanita 0-3, BB, run. Anderson 0-3. Becker had 2 HR. Lubisich went 8 innings of 4 hit ball. Box Score Kanny beat Hickory (Pirates) 6-2. The team had 7 doubles, Bounds had 2 of them. Schnurstein 2 hits. Rodriguez had a decent start. Box Score

She looks pretty old. Doesn't do it for me.

Hate to kill the vibes but the Sox should try selling the high. Borchard isn't going to look any better for a while, if ever. Trade his ass in the hope you can package him for a 5th starter.

Radke is on my fantasy team. He won't suck. And my sig is better than yours.
-
What could be worse than Iowa losing to Northwestern twice? And wtf is with the Radke avatar? TRAITOR!
-
Actually this would be your 9th annual 29th birthday.

I had Pettitte, Cliff Floyd, Larry Walker, and Torii Hunter all on the DL within the first week this season for my fantasy team. Pettitte getting injured would not be good for the Astros or my team.

Hogs won 7-6. Everyone in the lineup got a hit. Nanita had 3 hits, Sweeney 2, Anderson 1 with an RBI and a run. Rogowski hit his 10th HR of the season.Box Score

Exactly. I don't want Howard and Deng didn't impress me. TRADE THE PICK! TRADE THE PICK!

I was thinking the same thing. Even though no one likes an asshole I think that Rauch is probably sick of getting interviewed. Borchard is a saint to put up with the s*** he puts up with. I still don't think Borchard will do it. This is his 3rd year in AAA. He is going to be another Lee, Konerko, Jose, Crede in the respect that they hit HRs but have awful batting averages. Granted Lee is not that bad, he's just stupid and I think Crede will turn it on.

Kanny lost 9-8. They lead 7-2 after 7 and a 8-6 after 8, but lost in 15. Valido had 2 hits with 2 RBI. Brice went 3-7, a HR short of a cycle. Schnurstein had 4 hits with 2 RBI and 2 runs. Haigwood was solid in his start. Box Score

The Bulls need Okafor or they should trade the pick. I doubt Paxson will go after another high schooler.

I remember during my 8th grade DC trip we were flipping the channels and stumbled onto some clown porn. That was disgusting. :puke

Just playing devil's advocate here: Wouldn't another OFer create a log jam in the system? For example, we see Brice being held back when he wouldn't be otherwise. What if some of our OFers stay in the system a while like Borchard and clog up the works? Do you see that as an issue or not?
-
Why do I doubt that? Good times Jas, you know I like to raz you about your grammar. Apparently Alex does too.

If we are throwing dates out there I'd have to say he'll be here in early to mid 2006. I figure he will get some time in Birmingham this season and next with possibly some time in Charlotte in '05. With roster openings and a good Spring Training showing he could make the team right out of the gate in '06. If not he will be like Reed now.

Memphis Grizzlies unveil new logo

The old logo was pretty cool to me. This one is alright at best. -
Wood out for possibly a month

I doubt it would be Zambrano. He is a bigger guy and I would think that would allow him to handle more of a pitch count. See Bartolo Colon, Mr. Inning Eater. Maddux has been healthy his whole career as far as I can remember, but his age makes him a possible candidate. Overall, I don't see another pitcher getting injured due to wear and tear. -
Ok, as long as I'm not losing my mind. I swear I heard that the Dodgers had a thin system. Everybody has a few guys so I guess that makes them a thin system.

Barons' Box Score The Warthogs lost 4-3 in 12. Wally Rosa had 3 hits and Rogowski had a HR. Hudson pitched decently in 5 innings (5 walks though). Box Score

Yeah I was just looking for an excuse to use that smiley. Sorry, I didn't think we were all touchy about that. I didn't think it was going to stir anyone up, ss2k4. On a serious note aboz is enjoying the 'I told you so' stuff right now.

Good, maybe this well get Delgado's act in gear for my fantasy team. I thought the Dodgers had an awful system and that was why they couldn't get any pitching last season? Are they just going to trade away last year's draft picks or do they have a couple aces in the hole?

For the record Reed had a 2 HR game the 21st.
