  1. Gammons didn't really say much. He was just saying they are a good AL team. Nothing wrong with that, but, again, I don't see why people cry about the national media so much.
  2. Why don't you kiss some more ass. Geez, the guy isn't here yet.
  3. You graduated? Wow....
  4. Moneymaker was so lucky last year that it's not at all shocking that he lost.
  5. The Marlins are pretenders? Wow. They win the WS and get no respect. That's sad.
  6. Sure you can bash him, he's not perfect. Just don't bash him on the fact that he hasn't faced a AA pitcher. Were Frank Thomas and Magglio Ordonez bad before they faced AA hitting? No. Were they Major League ready? No. I don't see why you change my words just to be the asshole you are.
  7. There won't be any room for your home boy until Anderson gets called up, whenever that is. Nanita starting to play well is another problem there. It looked like the Sox were beginning to give up on him sending Blakely down to W-S, which would have limited his playing time if not for this streak. I could have interpreted this wrong, but Nanita had been benched a couple games in a row. Believe me, I want to see Brice up as much as anybody. Having he did well in Kanny last year says that there is no need to keep him down there. The Sox just have nowhere to put him.
  8. This is insane. People get over it. Besides you failed to mention the fact that the White Sox-Twins game got a spot in "Out of the Box", which leads off the show. They showed a decent amount of highlights for their game and the Reds' game and then went into the show. They don't want to be repetitive and not show that. Does anyone remember the pub the Sox-Twins series were getting last September? There is no media biased nationally. They are trying to get people to watch, and people care about the Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, etc.
  9. The series was huge. This really reminded me of the 2000 Sox. The way the offense put together huge innings and huge outbursts consistently and the way they showed up against a top team. Granted I still think the 2000 Sox are way ahead of where this team is.
  10. You can't bash Anderson on the fact that he hasn't faced a AA pitcher yet. Cerb was just saying these guys are/are becoming better prospects than Borchard. He didn't mention them as guys the Sox should bring up this year. With these guys as hotter prospects, Borchard is more expendable.
  11. I don't see why this would be any different. And why would you want to platoon Uribe? He has done better than Harris from both sides of the plate and has a higher average than Valentin from both sides. If anything Harris or Valentin should be platooned.
  12. Great to see Nanita put back-to-back great games together. It's always nice to see a prospect turn it on.
  13. The Barons lost 6-4. Nicholson is in Bham, who got sent down? Munoz didn't have his best stuff, but kept his streak intact. Box Score
  14. As mentioned in another thread Borchard went nuts today 4-5 with 3 HRs. Reed also had 2 hits. Nelson and Smith each had HRs. The Knights won 12-3. Box Score Brice went 3-4 with a HR in a 2-1 loss for Hickory. Antoin Gray also had 2 hits. Brian Miller had another quality start. He is becoming very consistent. Box Score
  15. This is all well and good, but I want to see him produce on the Sox before I go apes*** over him. I mean, sure I want him to do well. I'm just very skeptical at this point. Did something suddenly click?
  16. It's funny because people said this about Shoeneweis.
  17. I was waiting for one of these reactionary threads to come up. It's hilarious at this point. I got spared from watching the last 7 1/2 innings of the game, but I still don't think Cotts is bad. He deserves another chance as a starter because what else are we going to do?
  18. Good to see Nanita finally get it going. It's hard to count him out so early, especially since he did skip Kanny, but he hasn't been doing well. Hopefully he can go on an Anderson like hot streak.
  19. It's good times. I can't wait to watch it on tv.
  20. Yeah I was already corrected earlier in the thread.
  21. Ok well you are the lone exception then.
  22. Well usually minor league relievers are not projected to the majors as you probably know so that doesn't bode well for him. I don't know much about his stuff other than the pitches that he throws (you should read the FutureSox interview with him if you haven't already). The concensus on here in many discussions has been that Baj needs some time in AAA before even being considered for a callup.
  23. Well said Tex. That's exactly how I feel. Beastly, I meant that when you were spamming and being an ass pre-suspension you were a reason not to like the site. It was a joke. Others found it funny, I meant no ill-will by it. And stop IMing me. I don't like you, we already got that across. I don't want to talk to you so just leave it at that.
