  1. I just find it funny that you were posting that.
  2. You read the boards without registering. If people don't want to be seen this is what they will do, or if they are just checking out the place before registering.
  3. Williams is actually doing the worst of the Cardinal starters so far this season. So it is a battle of the 5th starters so to speak.
  4. You have no business telling people what they can and can't do. I really think it doesn't matter. People who read but don't post in any circumstance have that right. I think you need to loosen up a bit.
  5. Way to find a positive in an otherwise crappy outing.
  6. Great news in Charlotte! The Knights won 10-9 in 10 innings over Pawtucket. Jeremy Reed went 3-6 with 2 HRs in the leadoff spot! Supposedly injured wrists take a lot of power away from a hitter so hopefully this is a sign that he has rounded the corner. Bryant Nelson also went 4-6 with a HR and 5 RBI. Mike Bell 3-5 with a HR. Rich Paz, Mario Valenzuela, and Kelly Dransfeldt also added 2 hits each. Paz is batting .327, is there any chance he could help out the Sox this season or in the future? Borchard 0-5 with a walk and a K. Tetsu Yofu made his Charlotte debut and sucked. Darensbourg and Santiago also got rocked. Box Score
  7. This thread deserves more credit. Something clicked for the Sox. Who knows what it was? Maybe it was this?
  8. Yeah, the Blakely for Martel move is curious. Why Martel? Blakely definitely told the Sox to shove it for his demotion. (He had 2 HRs)
  9. Also, wtf is Norfolk, Virginia doing on the list?
  10. It sucks to be a Rangers fan. I wish I was there even though I hate A-Rod.
  11. It's funny because he said you would say that and there you go. You are so unbelievably stubborn. It's almost hilarious when I'm a bistander, but you are such a bully. You try to intimidate people and make them sound like idiots to get your point across and make it sound like you are right.
  12. I agree with ya Spiff. The Bears are a bad team on paper and there is little to think otherwise IMO. It is somewhat reasonable to think they can be decent again, but they aren't going to be a great team this year. Face it people the Bears are not a good football team. The media isn't being biased about that. Mortensen gave his opinion, what's wrong with that? Does he have to say the Bears are going to go to the playoffs. That would be more ridiculous than saying they are going to be the worst team in the league. He didn't even say they were going to be the worst team in the league.
  13. I think San Juan would be very popular, but they would need a stadium.
  14. Agreed. I think that's why I like it.
  15. He is also valuable because he is an inning eater. He saved the Sox bullpen at times last season.
  16. Only problem is that it's wrong. I put in a line from Star Wars and it came out differently than in the movie.
  17. Noone, and I mean noone can be another Beastly. It's just so hard to be that annoying. Sure, he's probably going to get pissed at me for saying this, whatever. He's gotten somewhat better. He still spams, but at least doesn't ask questions about his personal life. Ahh, bad times. Anyway, uhhh, yeah, Go Sox!
  18. I love absolutely pummeling the Twins in this park. It was (and still could be) the house of horrors for the Sox. Even if the bats do nothing the rest of the series, it's nice to knock around the Twins in this place.
  19. Frank keeps hurting the ball. Wow, if he stays this hot, just wow. He is an amazing player when he is hot.
  20. Frank has been hitting well all year though. Granted his batting average isn't great, but he leads the AL in walks, 2nd in OB%, t-14th in Slugging, and 4th in OPS. Those numbers are freaking studly. His batting average is less important than these numbers anyway. He is hot now, but he has been doing well all season. He keeps this up and Ozzie might be right about the MVP year.
  21. Correct I believe you are. B) Sorry, I just love talking like Yoda. It's so cool! Anyway I think we need to give Cotts a chance before trading for a pitcher because a hitter will come cheaper and more are available than pitchers. If Cotts turns out to be even decent (4.50 ERA) there is no way I'd give an arm and a leg for a rental.
  22. In the first of a doubleheader the Warthogs lost 5-0 to Salem. They managed just 3 hits in the loss. They were all singles by Sweeney, Lee, and Gonzalez. LaMura struggled in his start completing the game (which was only 6 innings). Box Score

    FSN+

Yeah and you live Iowa so you aren't gonna have CLTV. FSN+ varies from area to area as I'm sure you know.
