Agreed. Players go through hot and cold streaks as we've seen with the Sox and throughout the minors. I'm curious to see if he can actually keep it up. I don't think it will last, but heck if he can bat upper .260s like he is now with power that's not bad. Of course you would his numbers to slip from AAA to the Majors so I'd like him to do this over the course of a couple more weeks.

Prior is pitching in low A ball. This is a great media ploy by the Cubs if that's what they are intending. Get everyone's hopes up by dominating guys he could dominate at 70%, if not lower. I'm not worried until he climbs the ladder with continued domination all the way to the bigs. Besides, at least Wood and Sosa are on the DL.

He won't be good enough by 2006. He didn't even make the U-20 squad this past year. There is no way he will make the national team in 2006. 2010 is when he will begin to make his mark. I still think he can be a star player, but he won't be a Ronaldo, Baggio, etc. He needs to grow and get stronger. Both things should be able to happen if he is really 14, lol.

He isn't that good. He will just be another good professional star when he grows up. He won't be the next Pele or anything.

His wrists are bothering him. I don't know if he can be effective this season. Next season he should be penciled in as the opening day starter if everything goes well.

I can live with that. Anderson is deserving at this point though IMO. There is no hurry with Reed as the CF of the future. There won't be a spot for Anderson until at least next season if Lee is traded and/or Maggs leaves. In either case, Anderson won't be ready next season.
