QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 08:54 PM) I have a joke about that actually. I had classmate in college that was black and we used to talk all the time. I made a joke about iowa being white and having NEVER seen an black person in Iowa all the times I had been there. He laughed. One day I was driving through Coralville and head this car pull up next to me with the bass CRANKED. I looked over, it was 2 black people!!! I went back to school that next week and told him and he high-fived me. it was funny. Stupid story, but shows your point. If you're not on a college campus, or in like DM, CR or Waterloo, it's like winter there's so much white.

So, the caucus was actually a long, boring process, but I'm happy with how everything turned out. It was about an hour of my night eating stale cookies.

Huckabee/Obama Win Iowa Caucuses
I live in an elderly part of town, so I was surprised to see Obama do as well. Of course, the fact that me, my mom and my brother showed up got Obama that 6th delegate, which was kind of neat.

QUOTE(Reddy @ Jan 2, 2008 -> 09:32 PM) actually i'm going to take mine back. Edwards 41% Obama 32% Clinton 24% I don't think it's gonna be as close as people think. You willing to give me the points on that spread?- Official College Football Thread
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 2, 2008 -> 10:39 PM) There is a possibility that WVU will keep him and name him as there head coach. He impressed me with based on how well he has handled the media given the circumstances. Good god...Devine is ridiculous. Its crazy how good they will be if White/Slayden stick around another year as Devine will be just as explosive. WVU is fun to watch. Almost got Slaton right there. OU looks a lot like the team that struggled on the road in the Big 12 this year, but much worse, of course.- Official 2007-08 College Basketball Thread
Jesus Christ Hoosiers, someone might want to get on Justin Johnson.- Official 2007-08 College Basketball Thread
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 2, 2008 -> 10:01 PM) Ya, kind of like you guys were last year with the refs so they'd give you 6 points in the sweet 16. Welcome to the ever growing group of teams losing to Drake. Purge the game from your memory and move on.- Official College Football Thread
QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 2, 2008 -> 07:23 PM) Problem with your argument is that Illinois was not there instead of Missouri. Mizzou not being in the BCS had NOTHING to do with Illinois. The only way Missouri could have gotten in is to be picked instead of Kansas. Is the BCS obligated to take the Big Ten runnerup? I don't know for sure. Either way, Missouri deserved to be in the BCS over at least three teams.- Official 2007-08 College Basketball Thread
QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 2, 2008 -> 07:25 PM) Again, who is this guy??? Forgive me for not paying attention to our worst program in the Big 12. He had 14 and 11 when you guys came to Hilton last year. Not so hot in the Phog though. He was also on the Big 12 All-Rookie team and was an Honorable Mention Freshman All-American. 34-inch standing vertical leap and 41-inch step vertical leap, so the man can jump.- Official 2007-08 College Basketball Thread
QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 1, 2008 -> 10:40 PM) No way he is better than Sherron Collins. Collins 9.3 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 2.9 apg, 22.3 mpg Johnson 12.3 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.1 apg, 31.7 mpg Those are their freshman campaigns. Anyways, ISU plays fightin' USC Upstate tonight. Yay. Collins is a good player, and probably better than Wes this year, but Wes also is playing injured this year. I think Wes was more impressive and a bigger surprise last year.- Official College Football Thread
QUOTE(bmags @ Jan 1, 2008 -> 10:24 PM) Their frosh QB got rattled at an away game. Neutral field i think OKL can go step for step with anyone and probably convincingly win. Remind me how we seemed to belong on the same field as them.... Bradford looked like absolute crap in Ames.- Official College Football Thread
