  1. Ray Liotta and Juan Ovalles fan-freaking-tastic tonite in a shutout. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...=g_box&did=milb

  3. I've got a baseball signed by Bryan Ward, James Baldwin, Keith Foulke and Chad Bradford. That thing's gotta be worth thousands.....
  4. QUOTE(JimH @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 09:45 PM) You can say that again Heads 22. Normally people double post real quick like. I'm so slow it takes two minutes. Now, I hear all the women wish Jason could even just be two minutes worth of slow...
  5. I guess you'll have that. Oh well. I emailed him after the game to tell him congrats anyways. He deserved this chance. Let's hope he can put up some solid numbers the rest of the year.
  6. Well, now all those people knew why we wanted Baj up.
  7. Well, now all those people knew why we wanted Baj up.
  8. Well, that shuts me up. He pitched tonite and pitched well.
  9. Baj says shh. Definitley looked better at the beginning of the inning than the end. But, lefties hit him at a .300 clip in Charlotte so that hit wasn't a huge surprise. Baj
  10. So, this Chris Young is pretty good, eh?
  11. Each time through the rotation the answer's looking more and more like yes.
  12. Rotoworld says that Baj may most likely be sent down to make room for BMac tomorrow. Well then why not promote BMac now?? What's the point of promoting someone who pitched yesterday and probably won't be used today in order to demote him? Unless there's a chance that they think he'll pitch in game 1 and then demote him after game 1 and keep him with the team for September.
  13. What Jason said, sans the horrible grammar.

  15. Crede hasn't been DL'd yet, has he?
  16. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) for him to make the f***IN playoff roster, he would be taking the spot of someone better then him. So you'd feel more comfortable with Jon Adkins, Kevin Walker, Felix Diaz or Arnie Munoz? You're welcome to them.
  17. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) I don't think he is the one who has to calm down...
  18. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 03:46 PM) we dont need another pitcher for the playoff roster. we have: mb fg jg jc/oh pen: jc/oh jenks politte cotts marte hermy viz 7 bullpen pitchers is enough for the playoff roster, thus we dont need any minor league pitcher on the roster Again, WHY THE f*** DOES IT MATTER? It's not like he's taking the spot from a better relief option. Even if he doesn't pitch, he's not gonna hurt anything or give anyone herpes. Calm down.
  19. I like to compare Baj to Cliff. Stuff's not the same but somewhat similar role. Politte blew absolute balls his first two years. Not saying that Baj will come close to Cliff, but it's worth noting.
  20. QUOTE(Colorado Sox Fan @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) Appeared in nine games with the White Sox after his contract was purchased from Class AAA Charlotte on 9/3 ... went 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA (10 ER/8.1 IP) in nine relief appearances with the Sox ... opponents hit .405 (15-37), including a .526 (10-19) clip by right-handers ... :puke Because you can judge a guy's performance in 8 innings. Why even give him a chance? It's not like anyone who was solid in the pen had a rough opening at the beginning of his major league career.
  21. Isn't anyone on the 25-man on Sept.1 eligible, or is that my head getting tied in a knot?
