  1. I love Jon as much as the next guy, but 20 wins is not gonna happen. Maybe for Mark in the future, but not Jon.

    Timo

Timo with a bit of redemption. I may not be a Timo fan, but dammit, I'll take it.

  4. Baj: 24.2 IP, 1-1, 1.09 ERA, 4 SV, 12 H, 3 ER, 2 HR, 15 BB, 25 K - BB are starting to concern Jenkies: 24.0 IP, 0-1, 3.00 ERA, 12 SV, 21 H, 8 ER, 1 HR, 13 BB, 29 K - BB also a concern. Almost exact same sample size. Tough call when you factor in Jenks talent, but Baj has been facing AAA competition while Jenks is down in AA.
  5. I'd like to have Jenks with some AAA time before we designate him Chicago bound. That being said, he's got me excited about his potential. He's probably on par with Felix as the number 2 option out of the farm system, behind Baj.
  6. I think Adkins would be much better served back in a bullpen role instead of starting. That's the only way I'd want him and Felix up, with Felix being the 7th SP. Baj is the first choice.
  7. We DO have three options in AAA for relief. Baj, Felix and Addy. Before we trade away the farm, let's try the farm.

    MUSIC

We try our best to hide it, as you may or may not have noticed. We're rather inconspicous around here. With all the comments about the boards not saying their specific purpose, maybe it's time to change things. Step One in the coup against Jason will commence shortly. It may be time to bring out an Ivan story.
  9. If I didn't know we were in first and ran across this board, I'd swear the Sox were in last.
  10. We're still in first place...I'm sure there's been World Champions that have dropped 3 games in a row. If we go 6 games without a win, then I'll be worried. We weren't gonna play .750 ball all year. Now I'm just waiting for the "Not for long" comments :rolly
  11. There's always the tenacious trio of Adkins, Diaz and Bajenaru waiting in Charlotte.
  12. I can't think of one larger than a good ol' bald eagle, but my thoughts and fifty cents will get ya Denny Neagle's hooker.
  13. I'd like the Mariners then. Keep in mind I know nothing about the draft.
  14. Pinned for posting pleasure.
  15. The more I hear, and the more I read, the more I'm pulling for Cesar Carillo. You can never, ever, have enough pitching Excluding Cesar, a middle infielder of some sort. Tuloetc. also sounds promising.
  16. From the I never knew they were in our organization files, after the first 3 players, of course: From the crushed dreams files: And finally, from the fifth starter carousel:
  17. Who is Brian going to replace? Oh, Kris Honel wouldn't be a bad idea.
  18. QUOTE(JimH @ May 27, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) The good-scary part about this is Jenks is likely just now getting healthy and rounding into form. Um....Jim....his form is already pretty round.
  19. I'll be happy with Carillo. I dunno, I'm just pulling for him.
