Ultimately, I hope this is part of a defined direction for the White Sox. The Paulie deal aside, we're gravitating towards younger, cost-controlled (for a while) players. There's no reason that a guy like Keppinger or Alexei, for example, needs to be a part of that.

What is Jacobs 40-man status? Is he Rule V eligible? I can't remember.

Sure that's a lot of teams in the fray (I apparently only count out Houston and Minnesota), but if everyone beats up on everyone, who knows. I'm an optimist. Time for more drinks Uhh, Avisail isn't coming off the bench.
