  1. The fact that we have so much internal division amongst who is the desired pick is all the evidence one should need to know that Roch is no longer the slam dunk 1.1 we thought he would be during the draft lottery.
  2. I personally hope Tony has nothing to do with this draft. 😆
  3. I slept past my alarm and couldn’t wake up for the game. This L is on me guys, my apologies. 😆
  4. Alexi Ramirez days until we draft 1.1!!!
  5. The draft can’t come soon enough. I get twisted in circles weighing Roch, Emerson, and Lackey… can only imagine how the front office feels. It will be nice to see the pick and evaluate the draft as a whole - read the opinions ranging from b**** doom fest to pie in the sky celebratory. Alexi Ramirez days left folks.
  6. Yea, after digging into his stats there was a pretty glaring 5/9 BB rate staring me in the face. 😆
  7. ?
  8. I think you’ll be surprised then. He’s THE TOP available pitcher. The big guns across the league will be pitted against one another to try and not only add him but to also keep him from potential NLCS / ALCS / WS dog fights. He isn’t your usual rental scenario.
  9. I hope you’re right but doubt it as much as you 😆
  10. Hope after this draft we move somewhere near where the Twins land. Between the Rays and Brewers are.
  11. Another note I saw on Schultz, "He carried a 5 percent walk rate in his first two pro seasons before it spiked to 14 percent when his knee acted up in 2025." Hopefully some of his struggles this season end up being tied to his knee acting up again and we get him back healthy really being able to dial in and flash his promise for us for the next couple of months. Having him show out as a TOR type arm with Burke seemingly taking a big step up would be massive for this teams chances to make the playoffs and do some damage in them. Bring me the World Series, White Sox!

    Yes
  13. Speaking of moving a catcher up to take Romo's spot... Really don't know why they don't give Lee another shot. Dude has been raking.
  14. I feel a 10 game winning streak coming on. By the time we're picking 1.1 in the draft, I see us being up by 7+ games.
  15. Time to flush those years from that excellent memory of yours amigo.
  16. Yea, I just noticed before that he mainly took that approach when getting to two strikes and often times he'd K... seems like he is now willing to go the other way eariler in the count.
  17. Rook showing respect on his teammates name. 😆
  18. I will s%*# on the door mat of Jerry's porch if we don't resign / extend him.
  19. He's getting more comfortable taking pitches and going the other way sooner in counts IMO.
  20. You're exhibiting traits of 2024/2025 CWS PTSD.
  21. Absolutely - most likely that Roch is at short and colson moves to third with miggy and mune splitting between first and dh.
  22. So refreshing that for the first time in a long time, we have nearly too much talent... what a difference a couple years makes.
  23. Seems to me that our next bastard child positional hole is going to be centerfield... unless I'm blind and Peters actually is good enough to man it for the next few years. I just don't see how we wouldn't be able to find someone better. PS: I guess if Roch ended up in LF, you're moving Psycho Sam to second and trading Chase or keeping him as the utility guy?
