Chicago White Sox vs Minnesota Twins 6/29/2016, Shields vs Nolasco, 7:
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 03:48 AM) Juxtaposited or juxtaposed? At least you get points for attempted humor and creativity... iPhones aren't conductive for error free late night spelling.

Chicago White Sox vs Minnesota Twins 6/29/2016, Shields vs Nolasco, 7:
For the first time in 12 years, here's a hi8is started game thread. I can't sleep, clowns will eat me. In the White corner... Hailing from Newhall California, a battered and bruised ill advised trade acquisition seeking a redemptive start to begin undoing heaps of chunk filled vomit that has been flung all about the baseball world at historic levels. Supporting his quest, a putrid offensive attack who's main contribution as of late has come from a rookie with like 28 games of AAA experience. If this band of brothers hits 7 home runs in a single game - have no fear, they still may lose. In the Twinkie corner... Coming from Who the f*** Knows and Who the f*** Cares is Ricky "the b**** boy" Nolasco. Last minute scouting reports break astounding news that this right handed hack job hasn't been able to find his dental retainer for the past 4 days and is now PISSED OFF. His ERA+ and WHIP add up to the amount of women I've slept with if you move a decimal point over a couple spaces to the right. As such, logic blaintently tells us he is likely to throw a 2 hit complete game shutout against the Sox. Leading the little toothed fish stick attack is someone not named Joe. hi8is take away point: bet the house on a called strike in the 3rd inning on Shield's 97th pitch of the night. It will be a ball, low and away - however the umpire will be too busy smelling his hand after checking himself for skid marks and will as such - make a bad call. In all seriousness, I hope this is the start of a 11 game winning streak so I'll have 10 more chances to top this entirely retarded stroke of juxtaposited genius. Gold I tell you... Gold.

Chicago White Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays 6/26/2016
QUOTE (SCCWS @ Jun 26, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) Another great job by the ACE of our staff. Nice time for Twins to come to town. We need the rest of the rotation to dominate the Twins while St L. wipes out the Royals. We need to get back to at least 2nd place by the break. Indians are disappearing over the horizon. KC also closes out the first half against Seattle.... If we can sweep Atlanta - we're making up ground no matter what in one race. With Cleveland, it's going to come down to the 10 remaining games we have against them. We've got to beat the pants off them ( for once ) if we are to win this thing. Balls still in our court - please stop s***ting the bed White Sox.

6/22 Games
QUOTE (southside hitman @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 12:37 PM) Ranaudo 5 IP, 1 ER, 5 H, 3 K, 2 BB. ERA in AAA down to 2.22. Sands has two HR's. Gotta imagine that if Shields s***s the bed again tomorrow that Ranaudo gets a start next week.

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 07:46 PM) Hang around, get a f***** bat and go for it.no more half measures Sweep Boston and then I'll consider getting on this train again. That includes Shields throwing a good game. Anything else and I'm firmly fixed in the "sell everyone" crowd looking to blow it up and build for 2018/2019.

Blow It Up
QUOTE (beautox @ Jun 19, 2016 -> 10:19 PM) Honestly Q is super valuable but to land Moncada++ its going to take something like Sale + Jones. That should get you the majority of their upper level prospects and a "throw in" or two. I could see a package like this Trade Chris Sale & Jones to the Red Sox for C Blake Swihart, 2B Yoan Moncada, OF Andrew Benintendi, RHP Anderson Espinoza, LHP Kyle Martin & 3B Pablo Sandoval with Boston picking up 48.5 of his remaining 57 mil including his buy out. If the sox are going to have a fire sale there going to need someone to play 1B and maybe they can get Sandoval to re-establish some of his value, they'd be responsible for 8.5 over 2 years, with the option to exercise the club 17m option if he turns it around. He needs to roughly be worth 1WAR over the course of 2 seasons. If Sales being traded I want Giolito and Turner from Washington as a starting point. If we're talking Boston, I want their top three in Moncada, Devers, and Benintendi -- plus two more lower level SP prospects. Sales trade value and his contract should bring an unprecedented return.

Blow It Up
QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jun 19, 2016 -> 03:24 PM) Trading Sale would be a franchise changing move. The Dodgers and Red Sox have stacked systems and could use the pitching. And Nationals.

Blow It Up
QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 19, 2016 -> 04:50 AM) You.re dreaming, man. Sound asleep. Ok, Q for one of those two and supplement either of the omitted for a 1B or CF in the draft or in FA. You've also got other trade chips on Jones and Robertson who could help bring in a good fit for one of those two spots.

Blow It Up
Here's me being stoopid Chris Sale to Washington for Gialato, Turner, and Wilmer Difo Quintana to Boston for Moncada and Beniniti Abreu to Texas for Dillion Tate Melky Cabrea to Seattle for Edwin Diaz Todd Fraizer to the Mets for Dominic Smith and Marcos Molina 2016 and 2017 we tank which results in some more high draft pick years to further ad to the farm. 2019 looks like this: 1SP - Jose Fernandez ( FA ) / Rodon 2SP - Gialato / Rodon 3SP - Tate 4SP - Fulmer 5SP - Adams, Diaz, Burdi, or Molina ( some in pen ) SS - Anderson CF - Beniniti 1B - Moncada RF - Adam Jones ( FA ) DH - Collins 3B - Turner LF - Eaton C - Wilson Ramos ( FA ) 2B - Difo Bullpen: Put one together, f***ers.

Blow It Up
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Jun 18, 2016 -> 10:33 PM) You're so f***ing right man. This s*** is so f***ing embarrassing to watch. I'm f***ing ashamed to wear my f***ing Sox hat in public now because I know f***tard Cubs fans will f***ing f*** with me about it. I don't get what's so f***ing hard about building a f***ing team the right f***ing way. I hate the f***ing Cubs, but they did that s*** the right f***ing way. The Sox need to f***ing get their f***ing s*** together and blow this s*** apart. They have so many f***ing assets that the f***ing rebuild wouldn't even take that f***ing long. But no, f***ing Jerry is too damn f***ing loyal to fire that f***tard Robin and his s***ty ass mother f***ing coaching staff. I'm so f***ing tired of rooting for f***ing mediocre teams. The f***ing casual fans have already jumped over the f***ing ship, and even the f***ing diehards are f***ing tired of this garbage. I want to give you an award.

6/18 -- White Sox at Indians
QUOTE (miracleon35th @ Jun 18, 2016 -> 10:07 PM) Trade the best players with them most favorable contracts? Uh, no. Uh, yes... If you're rebuilding and wanting top prospects that can influx a roster in 2 to 3 years, you HAVE to trade your most valuable players. If we traded Sale we could get a teams top 3 prospects and a curent major league young controllable player. If we traded Q we could get a teams two prospects and at least another lower minors 5 - 10 ranked guy. If we traded Abreu, there's another top prospect and two lower level 5 - 10 guy. Just those three would bring back at least 5 or 6 roster spots for 2018 or 2019. You then supplement that with FA spending. If you're going to sell - then f***ing sell. We've been through this debate since 2007 and what you're suggesting hasn't worked for 9 years. When is enough enough?

That one and the Quintana HOF plaque are the only thing helping me to maintain my sanity. Going to have to try to track down the Navarro error, supposedly that one is priceless as well. Why was Lawrie so pissed?
