In my life I have to focus on the brighter side of things or else I go insane. That being said, here are the positive things I've seen so far. Alex Rios looks to be dialed in and his swing is looking boobies. Andurew Jones is giving some quality at bats thus far - working pitches. Tony Pena looks solid as hell. Matt Thornton is Matt Thornton. We've had a lead in every game. Mark B, Peavy, Floyd, and Danks all look boobies. Paulie has been looking pro. We could have won every game and be 4 - 0 right now. Hopefully we come together and build on the good things we've seen and turn this into a great 2010 season.

I'm gonna go with mark burhlue. I also love spelling!

maybe it's setting up walker to be gone if he fails. walker himself said that he would be canned if it was any other organization. does a sub par under 500 4th place finish equal the end of ozzie and walker? i'm not saying that i expect a performance of that level. i hope this team will be a 90+ win team and will get into the playoffs. we've got the pieces IMO. give me A. Gon. by july 31st! =)

The Gordon Beckham video posted really hit home for me. It reminded me a lot of my father and I... of our history together playing baseball. Of course - anything related to baseball for us - was related to the White Sox. We both bleed black and white. I thought it would be a cool thread to allow everyone to have a place to post their favorite White Sox and family related memory in one place. I'll begin -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I remember as a kid my dad and I would always go see the White Sox play when they came into town. We lived in Southern California so the only time that we where able to see the Sox was when they came to see the Angels. My father would always take work off for the entire series so that we could catch all the games. He'd get us a hotel room within walking distance to the park. I remember in 1992 when we went to the park early for the first time to meet the players when they arrived. Frank Thomas showed up and started signing for everyone. My pops and I stood in line and waited. Once I got up to the front of the line - Frank and I took a picture together. I was a dwarf compared to him. That day started a tradition for my dad, myself, and Frank Thomas. Every game the Angels played against our Sox for the next 10+ years - we'd always go early and stay late waiting to meet the Big Hurt. Pretty cool stuff =)
