I was speaking mostly to Vaughn and our organizational hitting approach… not necessarily regarding Colson. The book will be out on him until he’s had at least 1,000 MLB at-bats under his belt.

You also at some point need to wonder if this organizational approach of being selective has been too extreme where it’s getting into too many players heads… and effectively is “taking the bat out of their hands”.
