  2. QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 11:50 PM) Well I guess it is time to embrace the new addition! to Jim Thome! KW has added the perfect power lefty to the lineup and clubhouse that we seem to have needed! check out this thome video.... shows him hitting last year right before he had surgery.... if this guy hits like this with a bad back and a bad wrist.... uhhh look out. check out thomes home run on 6/9/05
  3. anyone know where i can find clips on the internet of the rowand intro?
  4. yeah - sometimes i think some of us fans forget how much kenny loves this team... both kw and ozzie bleed for the sox they stay awake all night because of them.... they make good choices no worries peeps
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 06:25 PM) Sometimes I wonder if these people live in another dimension or something. Some of the analysi (?) are so off base from reality, it's scary. also makes me think that 10 percent of the soxtalk site needs to be getting paid =P
  6. from espns fantasy analsys of the trade: "If he returns to full form, Thome could hit in the neighborhood of 30 homers in the AL Central. " BWHAHAHAHHAHA and "playing at U.S. Cellular should not provide to much of an offensive drop off..."
  7. QUOTE(TimoandAaron @ Nov 25, 2005 -> 04:53 AM) this is the worst trade KW has made. A young, talented player who has not reached potential yet, for an old guy who was injured 2/3 of the season. I loved Rowand. HE WAS WHITE SOX BASEBALL IN ONE PLAYER. I wish him luck in Phillie and my new second favorite team. every trade kenny williams makes is the worst trade he makes according to someone on this site =P
  8. here are some fimilar numbers: .274 31HR 86RBI .333OBP .512 SLG thats what an certin player did comming back from a major injury last year. the team that he played for, ours... his name jermane dye soooo.... lets all just trust that kdub did his homework again.
  9. if your being scaRcastic.... then, you might need to re read that quote thome offering to personally fly to arizona to talk with paulie SWEET i already like thome.
  10. hey man, there are still 24 remining players that were all integral parts... specificaly guys named mark, john, freddy, jose, duque, and mccarthy.... also youve still got 7 out of 9 starters remaining.... and youve just replaced carl everett with someone who will most likely hit .275 45 hr 115 rbi hummmmm..... sounds good to me so far

    Fav Love Songs

the entire daimen rice cd "O" its not the happy go lucky collection of love songs... but its the dark sadder side of love.... which i currently can relate with much stronger.
  12. you mean the sky isnt falling chicken little?
  13. good guess indeed... i have heard reports that thome already has passed his physical /me shrugs
  14. so wait, kenny williams just traded arron rowand for freddy garcia???? i dont get it.
  15. ahhhh darn.... the apocolyse is near... the world is doomed... the tears of all nations will begin to crumble down whaaaahhhhh whaahhhh
  16. has anyone heard when it is going to be? i would love to hear some audio or see some video of KW talking about this trade.... it always sheads a little more light on the subject and illevates speculation.... hopefully thome will be interviewed as well anyone hear anything about a time table? gobbble gobble
  17. hey, you know what ken.... your right it is thanks giving.... and i s*** you not but i GAREN-f***ING-TEE YOU that every single member of the chicago white sox is thankful for 2005 and is thank full for being able to have arow as a part of the team since 2000...... and im sure every single one of the white sox players who talk to arow will tell him that... "arron, we're all thankful that we had you to help us do what we did last year." you yourself need to be thankful for that... i know you are... but its easy to over look when something hits you below the belt also be thankful that we're getting a DH who has the potential to hit over 50 home runs and drive in 120+ runs while getting onbase at a .400 clip a lot to be happy about still in white sox world.

    USA and gay friendly

homophobia? is that when you put something up your ass and then get the uncontrolable fear that it will never come back out? ala: the gerbal?
  22. in some sence, thome is really just an extention of the guy rowand is.
  23. QUOTE(knightni @ Nov 24, 2005 -> 07:17 AM) Wow. I'm hip deep in cliche's after reading that. Thanks, I guess. laughing my f***ing ass off.... which can also be summed up by abrivation as: LMFAO in the context of this conversation what you just read could also be seen as an example of a litterary divice otherwise known as, IRONY
  24. heres a quote from mid season 2004... if you are sad about arron leaving... smile: "Through August 1, Thome's 78 home runs since 2003 are six better than Barry Bonds and two better than Alex Rodriguez. His 130 homers from 2002 and August 1, 2004 are two behind A-Rod and 12 better than Bonds, who obviously is pitched to less often."
