I am pretty sure Montreal is not trading Guerrero, Vidro, or Vazquez this year. That's the rhetoric coming from MLB seeing as how they can be huge difference makers all 3 of them. Also people saying MLB would probably veto any trade involving Vlad.
fk Olivo nearly gets picked off twice and almost twists his ankle. So what else does he do but get out to an even bigger lead so he can get picked off like he deserved.
I think the best sign from this game is that Twins still can't hit good pitching and KC bullpen stud Grimsely is still struggling. I look for KC's bullpen to struggle enormously in the 2nd half as they have very little reliability down there. I also think good left-handed pitching can shut down the Twins offense daily.
Catcher does not have to be an offensive position. Hell we had Mark Johnson catching a large amount of our games the past couple seasons. If Olivo can even put up .250 10HR numbers that would be good enough for me. I don't know how much to credit Olivo for the Sox improvement in game calling but the pitching numbers this season speak for themselves. He really seems to get the best out of our pitchers in alot of tight situations.
Example: Today's game he had a meeting with Gordon and later Marte in the 9th. Basically I think he told Gordon not to let Delgado beat us. We ended up sorta pitching around him and then we get the game-winning GIDP.

1.3 million signatures was plenty to recall the governor of California Gray Davis. A recall YES/NO vote will be mostly a formality and the real question is who will the next governor of California be. Arnold hasn't said whether he will run yet but this is a really rare event we are witnessing here.
