  1. I know its early but Remenowsky is up to his old tricks at a tougher level of competition. If he keeps it up he's going to become my favorite minor league pitcher to follow.
  2. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 11, 2010 -> 10:35 AM) which one of the people in the video are you?
  3. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...romafx_kanafx_1 Kanny down early in a slugfest
  4. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) Nope, still the wrong move. If we're going to bunt with our second best hitter, i suggest we be prepared to lose a lot of games. your thinking is very black and white in this situation
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:29 PM) It didn't work, so it's the wrong move. I still think it's on the players more than Oz but since it didn't work, Oz gets an F for the move. that doesn't make it the wrong move, just means that it didn't work this time
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:29 PM) Ya, but everone is just assuming it is easy to steal a base. Pierre is awesome and I think you might give him a shot to steal the base, but I understand the call too. It isn't just easy to steal a base, no matter how fast or good you are at it. And you can't just steal them on command either. that's my main reason for not disputing the bunt call, even though i personally would probably just let gordon swing away
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:26 PM) Even if you stole the base and than bunted...they'd still have walked Quentin and there is a shot they'd have walked Paulie too to face Andruw Jones. exactly
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:23 PM) You're saying Konerko's not one of our 2 best hitters right now? he is but you can't deny that he hits into DP's like it's nobody's business
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:21 PM) To face the hottest hitter on the team? who hits into as many dp's as anyone in the game
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:19 PM) If you're going to bunt why not steal 2nd and then bunt?!?! stealing 2nd is not an automatic, you may just lose a baserunner
  11. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:13 PM) PIerre's going to score the winning run!! on a sac squeeze bunt by Q
  12. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:03 PM) Hey, what happened to those great picks Konerko makes at first? well s***. im only watching online so didn't see it.
  13. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 08:01 PM) So, what do we do about Teahen if he sucks all year? Get Herm to get Crede healthy? Dayan? Ugh. Call up what's his face from Cal Poly, third rounder a couple years ago but can't remember his name, he at least has great D.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 07:51 PM) All 1B are good at that it seems now. Gone are the days of Frank Thomas playing 1B. while i agree that most 1B have the ability to pick the ball out of the dirt, I really think that PK's skills in that area are well above avg. He consistently makes tough plays that others wouldn't be able to.
  15. Paulie is one of the best in the game at picking errant throws out of the dirt. He definitely saves us some runs with that ability.
  16. QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 07:44 PM) everyone ready for a hit? don't be so pessimistic.
  17. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 07:37 PM) Who pitches the 8th if Thornton is closer? I think that he's too valuable a for us to move him to closer. In his current role, we can bring him in whenever we need a big out and he usually delivers, he's especially deadly against lefties (obviously) and there's lots of dangerous lefty hitters in the AL central. If he's our closer his role is more restricted and i think he loses some of his value.
