  1. *fap* *fap* can't stop thinking about him *fap*
  2. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 3, 2010 -> 02:38 AM) Jeter for Waterboy.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 10:38 PM) So with a two-year deal does this officially end any chances of Tyler Flowers having a career in Chicago? Or will he backup in 2012? Pretty sure he gets 2011 to establish himself in AAA, if he is not moved by the end of the offseason.
  4. QUOTE (Springfield SoxFan @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 07:00 PM) This was inevitable, sad to see AJ leave and stay in the NL. AJ thanks for the memories. Easy people, it says in there WAS close to signing with BlueJays. Doesn't mean it's happening. Besides it's Cowley.
  5. Give me Paulie any day if we have the money.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 05:53 PM) MLB Network showed some lowlights of Dunn playing 1B. There were some plays you don't see much in Little League. Supposedly he has been in contact with Konerko and is OK DHing. Earlier on twitter I saw this: Dunn wanted 4/60, took less for #WhiteSox. You better believe he knows Paulie is leaning toward coming back. - Brett Ballantini
  7. QUOTE (joeynach @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 05:17 PM) Konerko and Dunn is your 1B/DH combo. I hope that Konerko does resign becuase Dunn's value becomes very diminished if he allowed to play the field regularly (1B or RF). You still need a RF, Quentin can play, I guess, but I would welcome a trade for a more defensive minded RF. Still would a CQ and Beckham package get it done for Rasmus? I doubt Beckham is going anywhere.
  8. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 05:09 PM) This is the way it feels which is why I'm really not worried about the payroll, aside from Jenks I don't think we're going to shed much of anything from the payroll. This definitely feels like an all-in especially with Kenny's Williams' comments that there is room in the payroll for Dunn and Konerko and that it would be optimal. Personally I can't wait to find out the details of the deal tomorrow and to see how much Sox have already committed for next year.
  9. KW said he gave Jerry 2 future directions at season's end: Young and cheap/All-in and expensive. Think we know now what Jerry chose. - Brett Ballantini
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 04:48 PM) Am I really the only one who doesn't care for this move? Great, we're building the team to be station to station, hit home runs or get shut out. Haven't we gone through this all before? You're right, 2010 Ozzie ball and rotating DH was clearly a success.
  11. Cowley: KW says they have room for both Dunn and Konerko, and that would be the ideal fit. They will let PK go through the winter meetings process and then hope to know if it's going to happen. Ball is in your court Paulie.
  12. KW says they have room for both Dunn and Konerko, and that would be the ideal fit. - Cowley
  13. QUOTE (LVSoxFan @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 04:23 PM) Not sure if this has already been posted but this site's claiming it's all but a done deal: http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/...-adam-dunn.html What do they know!
  14. According to Rosenthal, Konerko's agent wants to talk with Kenny at the Winter Meetings, as there has not been any talks so far.
  15. Cowley - Just spoke to a good source and here is how it went down. Lost out on V-Mart before offer could be made. Called about The Prince ...
  16. Gammons confirms. I'm loving this.
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 03:43 PM) not that I don't believe, but source? MLB trade rumors, that's why I wrote RUMORED.
  18. Sox could announce Dunn deal by tomorrow - physical pending. Cough Adam, cough! per Cowley
  19. 4 year $56mil is the rumored deal Sox/Dunn!!!
  20. Cowley - Several Sox players are under the belief that not only is Dunn done deal, but PK is close. Seems the demise of JR's checkbook is exaggerated
  21. Source told me today that #Diamondbacks were in early stages of talks with Konerko. Could change if #WhiteSox sign Dunn. #MLB #Chicago - Jon Morosi Read on Paulie, Dunn, Quentin and few others from Rosenthal.
  22. According to Rosenthal, Sox want an answer from Konerko about what is he looking for in his next contract. Rosenthal writes Sox feel like they are missing on opportunities while waiting for Paulie. I'm posting the column in the Konerko thread.
  23. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 03:25 PM) Heyman is now saying they are closing in on Dunn and still negotiating with Konerko. Maybe JR has a few Little Ceasers franchises he hasn't mentioned before. Heyman also said Sox made a $5M offer to Putz.
