  1. Ok, here we do Dunn. Squeeze some sawdust out of the bat and swing hard, friend.
  2. QUOTE (bobryansson @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 12:28 AM) Seems nobody saw my question at bottom of last page. Why was Lilli playing 1b? Because Dunn has the day off, and Konerko is DHing?
  3. By the way, Balfour is a f***ing prick. I am pretty sure if he nails this down he will pump his fists and scream.
  4. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 12:22 AM) I really don't know why you bring in Thornton when you need a double play. I would have stuck with Gavin. Meh. Oh Addison Reed, whose best pitch is a SINKER.
  5. If I were the A's, I would leave Cy Malone in there. 98 pitches, and a team that has no clue against him.
  6. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 11:41 PM) I can't help but have this feeling that Matt Thornton is going to end up ruining this game. Some way, some how, he will be blamed. Did I call it or what? I f***ing knew it.
  7. Here comes Thornton.......uh ohs.....my spidey senses are tingling....
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 12:02 AM) Who cares? If he wants to retweet, let him. Can the Sox scratch out a run? This game has a walkoff loss feel to it. I'm just saying, it's annoying, and he will continue to lose followers like me for doing so.
  9. QUOTE (kapzk @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 11:55 PM) I would have rather had AJP and Dunn in the lineup today Once we get Cy Malone out of this game, I'd expect them to PH for Morel/Lillibridge/Alexei.
  10. Ok, I can simply no longer follow Jermaine Dye on twitter anymore. ALL HE DOES is retweet nice things people say about him. He probably retweets 30-40 tweets a day, all of them saying how Dye was their favorite player and how great he is, etc, etc. Does he really need the confidence boost that much?
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 11:43 PM) I choose Crain as the goat. You think Crain will be the Greatest Of All Time? That's awfully bold of you, Greg.
  12. $9 for all upper deck, and $27 for all lower deck this Thursday for Humber vs. Red Sox? Hell, if I was back at home I would totally go.
  13. I can't help but have this feeling that Matt Thornton is going to end up ruining this game. Some way, some how, he will be blamed.
  14. Every pitch they are making contact with is at their ankles.......maybe that's a hint.
  15. What is the deal with soft tossers dominating? Players just so used to facing heat and have no idea how to adjust or something?
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 10:38 PM) It's amazing how many more runners we've thrown out this season compared to last. Nice play, Alexei. Tyler's 3/3 in throwing out runners, I think. Twitter is saying he is 5/5 this year.
  17. So I guess we all are adding pictures.....
  18. Thanks for the supports and followers guys! We had our final class today and my group won! Everyone took a vote, and we won pretty easily. So thanks for all who helped grow our audience and my professor is pushing us to continue with this blog over the summer and keep putting out content, so if anyone here is interested or has been keeping up with anything we have been adding, let me know and maybe we will decide to keep making content. Thanks!
  19. If anyone is interested, I have my interview with Red Sox prospect Kolbrin Vitek up. I'll am writing a main story to go along w/ this too, but here is a small cut up of my interview with him..... If you look through our channel, you will see other interviews with Vitek and other players from around the league.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 09:41 AM) He threw out the first pitch last night...and he swapped spots with Michael Young and made the throw from home to 2nd. Pretty accurate throw too. I'm sure it's not every hard for a major leaguer to toss a ball 100 feet or whatever it is on target.
  21. Ok, so like, can we get Shoemaker and Rienzo on the next bus to Birmingham, AL or what? Yeah, it's early in the year, but I think they've earned it....
  22. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 03:50 PM) Why is he working on driving it to RF? Didn't he become productive once he finally stopped doing that last season? He became productive once September hit and he realized he wouldn't be sent down. He is quoted as saying all of last year he was just worrying about making contact (hence the defensive swing), and was not trying to drive anything so he wouldn't get sent down to AAA. Once he got to September he loosened up and swung freely, and blasted out like 7 HR or whatever that month. It appears he is entering the same cycle this season, except he is striking out a lot more.
  23. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 02:11 PM) My college blocks internet connection from game consoles Really? That's rough.
