Somewhat rough day for Addison Reed. 3 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K. Now has 28 K and 3 BB in 20 IP.

There is my darkhorse guy, Arroyo, continuing to put up great peripherals. In 62 IP now, he has 63 K to 11 BB. Also, only 49 hits. Kid is rocking a 0.97 WHIP.

Have to leave, so can't add in all the boxscores, but I did see that SS Drew Lee has 2 HR, and Brent Morel is 1/1 so far with a HR. Now Brent Morel will no longer need surgery this off-season. They are going to let his shoulder heal over time. I guess that's a good thing. No AZ Fall League for him either, but that's not much of a surprise.

According to this podcast, they think there is a "good chance this gets done" with Grimes. But he also said they have one big bullet to shoot, and it will either be Grimes or Terry, but not both. http://www.baseballamerica.com/blog/draft/?p=2742

Morel is playing SS tonight, but is currently 3/3. AVG up to .310. Also, Phegley is 2/4 today. AVG to .302

" anything to get away from the big league team" Yep, that's how I feel. On awful days like today, I just retreat to the minor league boxscores, and find some great games by some of our 'spects. It makes me feel good inside when I see Morel, Wilkins, Reed, Hiedi, Phegley, Petricka, ect. have a really good game.
