  1. Taylor wasn't getting the offspeed over before that, maybe that's why. But yeah I was thinking the same thing. Had him geared up for the heat - at least throw that ball high where he can't hit it.
  2. Why was the shortstop in there?
  3. Vargas had a pitch to hit there.
  4. You hit a bunch of balls >100 mph it's gonna pay off eventually
  5. HAHAHAHA oh my god this team
  6. Colson destroyed that ball and it just died out there. One of those days.
  7. They've had their chances
  8. Watson hitting everything hard against us. Glad that was an out.
  9. Boy I thought that was a double. Nice play by Kwan, dammit.
  10. Ok, I'll take that outcome with two strikes
  11. Meidroth loves to take fastballs in the zone for strike 3. Stop guessing so hard on two strikes.
  12. Ok, HERE'S their chance.
  13. Seems like its been like that for quite a few of their recent games. Just one of those things.
  14. It's only 2. Maybe being down will wake them up a bit.
  15. When you aren't scoring runs errors kill you.
  16. IIRC that video room quote was in the last survey like this we saw, and it seems to be hearsay from someone who knows a player that played here. We know they have a Trajekt machine now, so they're improving on these types of things. I'd be interested to find out if the actual video room is still a laptop in a closet - I suspect not. Nice to see Venable is well respected. Not surprising they have a bad rep above him. It's well deserved. Hope that changes with Ishbia at the top, and it seems like Getz & his staff are doing a better job on the levels below Reinsdorf. The "they fail players" perception was absolutely true. It's changing for the better.
  17. If they did they're probably still looking at everything with stars in their eyes, so I would be cautious of their input in the same ways I would be cautious with a 13 year vet who by this point probably hates every org he's played in.
  18. Pallette already had a rough go in the majors for an org that can pull good pitching out of their butts, so he'd be third on that list. Looks like Iriarte has been a little better than Peoples this year (.99 WHIP & 2.16 ERA vs 1.18 WHIP and 2.6 ERA), but both have been real good. Honestly I'd bring them both up.
  19. Taylor closer, Dominguez later inning guy. They have too many lefties, so drop Eisert from the 40 man and add Ben Peoples from Charlotte. Once Wikelman Gonzalez is back bring him up and replace whoever is doing the worst.
  20. Thank god for Antonacci
  21. Got to get some offense back. Could have easily won the first game and this one, if not all three. Tigers playing for their season at home and Sox were not up to the task. Oh well, hopefully some home cooking solves this and they can get a couple games on Cleveland.
  22. The guy wasn’t going. Gonna be tough to get two there but at least get one
