Announcer said “gonna be tough to get Turner” and Yoan got him by a few steps. Really nice play.

TA sac fly 5-1 US

TA throws Yoan out

Elias getting hammered. He can’t go inside with 86 and expect these guys to not hit it hard.

I want Robert and Moncada to hit homers every time they bat and I want the US to win.

See this is why you build a super team - you can cover for your crappy manager screwing up

TA!

Find someone else to be manager next year

Bard gonna cost the US

Said that after the walk. The rest is out of my control

Here’s the Ruiz we know

Lynn not looking so good

I hope we get this Ruiz this year

Ruiz owned TA there

The PR pitcher was in AAA with the Sox last year and he’s got a hell of an arm.

Eloy out, probably for defense

I am all for Sox players carrying their teams in this tournament

Eloy popped out on a really nice play by the Nicaraguan SS.

Singer got hammered.

Yeah, time to turn this one off. I'll catch the WBC games later.

Glad it's spring!

Cease ain't foolin' anyone

Yeah, she needs to stop. She's poking holes in her own narrative for 15 minutes of fame. This fiasco is also 100% on MLB.

So wait, you mean all the concern about the back end of Machado's deal causing payroll issues were for naught as he was always going to opt out after 4-5-6 years anyway, assuming he didn't completely tank? Huh. No one could've possibly predicted that!

He's a DH/1B only on a team with Eloy and Vaughn already in those positions. You also have Colas and Benintendi as left-handed hitters in RF/LF, where Sheets could technically "play". There just isn't a position for him on this team. I'm guessing he'll be a backup outfielder or in AAA most of the year, unless he gets super hot and the Sox can trade him for something (doubtful).
