McCullers looking good. Got to get his pitch count up.

Best average in baseball. We were fifth.

Good job hitting, bad location to spot a fastball outside with a big hole by second.

Rays didn't walk Judge and he made them pay. Yankees are one of the wild cards.

What would a deal even look like? He's got 2 years until his opt-out (which I doubt he takes) and 5 seasons after that, all at $32m/year. Assuming you take on most or all of that money, what would you even give in return? Padres already have a solid system and really would want a major league ready return to plug other holes, I'd imagine. Would that even be worth it?

Can people hit the ball in the air off Bummer anymore?

I've seen plenty of slides like that in the past. He was also sliding into the bag and didn't target Goodrum at all.

1) It wasn't THAT bad 2) You get hit 20 something times with a baseball, including once in the head, and let's see if you want to be gentle with the opposing team.

I dunno guys, yeah it was stupid to slide like that but the dude has been plunked so much this year, got hit in the head... he's got to be tired of it. I totally understand how he feels.

Eloy sitting fastball the whole at-bat there. Book is clearly never throw him a fastball first pitch. He needs to be careful with that.

Wright sucks, but Crochet is getting hit HARD this inning.

Great, getting hosed on strikes too. Perfect example of our 8th innings this year.

Crochet missing over the plate and paying for it

See Eloy, if you hit the first pitch out of the park things work out better for you than when you hit the first pitch and ground into a double play.

Let's get all those double plays out of your system before the postseason, Abreu.

Throw Eloy low and slow and he can't do anything right now.

Eloy a ground ball machine right now. Hope he can get it going.

Well that was easy

Can Sheets ever hit a fastball man

Kimbrel's fixed he didn't give up a run!

Shoulda been a double play.

Kimbrel man.

Why would you run there? There were six outs left and they're down 5!

I don't think that hit him, but STOP THAT
