The White Sox won 99 games and went 11-1 in the postseason in 2005 and we thought they were gonna blow it that year for sure. They looked pretty bad after the all star break. Also, check message boards for any team that won 100 last year. Guarantee you'll see the same kinds of posts we're seeing right now after 17 games.

You think they're all of a sudden gonna win 100 games (or whatever the equivalent of 100 games is for this season)? Be realistic. Get to .500 for the first time since like 2012.

This is a team that can easily put runs up in bunches but right now everything feels like a big struggle.

Candelario is hot right now it seems. Took an inside fastball for a base hit the other way, then took that outside pitch into the alley for a triple.

I think some of the offensive woes can be blamed on facing some hot pitching but also good teams make their own luck. Hopefully we can see some more guys get hot and spark the offense soon or they're gonna lose a lot of games.
