  1. They should’ve let EE go before the series in KC. But then he had one his ten good ABs, and that was that.
  2. I was joking that 54 games is usually the 1/3 point in the season. Obviously being on pace for 102 wins would be great. Hopefully the starting pitchers can carry their weight the rest of the way. It’s not looking good right now. We’ll see how they bounce back.
  3. 34-20 at the one-third mark. Not bad. Oh wait....
  4. Agreed. It was close. Two strikes, swing the bat.
  5. Playoffs start tomorrow. 2 outta 3, three times in a row.
  6. Assume the Twins win tonight. I'll change it if the Cubs win. TB 35-19 (8)- 3 at NYM, off, 3 vs Phi Sox 34-19- 4 at Cle, 3 vs Cubs Oak 33-20 (7-) off, 3 at LA, 4 vs Sea Min 33-22 (4)- off, 2 vs Det, off, 3 vs Cin NY 31-22 (5)- 4 at Buf, 3 vs Mia Hou 27-26- 3 at Sea, 4 at Tex Cle 29-24 (3)- 4 vs Sox, 3 vs Pit Tor 27-26- 4 vs NY, 3 vs Bal Tor at TB; NY at Min Cle at Sox; Hou at Oak
  7. Speaking of, 15 years ago tonight, Joe Crede hit a walk off homer vs Cleveland’s David Riske. I was there, and it was pretty awesome.
  8. I want 26 innings from our starters in Cleveland, no more new injuries, and Aaron Bummer to come back.
  9. Yes, two Tigers, three Reds after tonight.
  10. That needs to be communicated before he even steps to the plate. How did he even have a green light?
  11. Grand slam ties it.
  12. Kinda figured this was a lose 2/3 between Twins and Indians series anyway.
  13. Tigers are making it tough in the 9th vs Indians, so that’s good.
  14. TB 35-18 (9) Sox 34-18 Oak 33-19 (8) NY 31-21 (6) Min 32-22 (4) Hou 26-26 Cle 28-24 (3) Tor 26-26 Tor at TB, Min at NY Cle at Sox; Hou at Oak
  15. That’s sumpin’. In 1990, Barry Jones was 7-0 in relief after game 22. Finished 11-4, then was part of the Tim Raines trade.
  16. Fun fact: Harmon Killebrew had the same haircut in 57.
  17. Love Nate, but here’s hoping he isn’t the third ex-Sox in row to be on the mound when the World Series ends.
  18. Forgot about that.
  19. If it’s a possibility, then I hope they try it out next weekend against the Cubs. Get him the feel for starting a game.
  20. 2020 probably ended his shot at 300 wins.
  21. Reds are trying hard. Hope we do too. Pretend that winning the division gets you to the World Series, cuz it might.
