  1. Challenge to any little league to college pitcher- pitch 200+ innings in the big leagues 14 straight years. Go. Oh and by the way, also be a credit to the teams you play for, throw two no hitters, and win a championship.
  2. Control the controllable Be a good teammate Try to get 700+ PAs the next two seasons = Good contract offers Be happy, Timmy. It’s not so bad.
  3. I like the kid already. C’mon Seby. Give the kid a good number. Also- White Sox, update your roster pages including the coaches for the new uni numbers. Katz gave up 52 for Clevinger. Hope he gets it back.
  4. MLB Network will be at Sox camp on Friday They have the first three games too. Sunday at 8am and 7pm. Next Monday live at 2pm vs Seattle.
  5. Good clubhouse move right now, with little risk. I like it.
  6. Jon Jay for first base coach next year
  7. 8 days away from games. How’s that broadcast schedule coming along, White Sox?
  8. Make all your starts, Michael. That’s 32.
  9. Obviously, I hope he didn’t do anything because it means he didn’t abuse women and his kids, and didn’t drive around on drugs. But, like you, I’ve never liked this guy in any way. He’s looks like he smells. His delivery is stupid—and now illegal, by the way. And he’s had a pattern of saying and doing stupid things. I don’t like him. I don’t want to root for him on the one team I support. So in the end, I want this to end with him never pitching for the White Sox after March 30th.
  10. Well, she’s meeting with MLB investigators tomorrow, and there’s 6 weeks until the season starts. Hey, 6 weeks until opening day! Exciting, isn’t it?! No?
  11. Raquel Welch, 82
  12. I‘m at the point of just hoping the end result is Mike Clevinger never pitching in a real game with the Sox. This is supposed to be fun- you know, being a fan. You can’t have this guy on the team March 30th. So hopefully the process will play itself out soon, and it’s just a matter of how much money the Sox will be on the hook for.
  13. Sometimes judging a book by the cover works. Clevinger would have qualified before they signed him. Fire Hahn.
  14. Of course the My Teams app doesn’t have Hahn live.
  15. Don’t understand why they couldn’t play regular baseball in the 10th and 11th, when most extra inning games end anyway. I’ll be turning the game off after the 9th. These are coin flip games. Hopefully better teams win most of these in the long run, and when the Sox are good, they win the majority. I won’t be watching.
  16. 15th for P&C. 20th full squad. Game on the 25th.
  17. Maybe MLB will put him on leave this Friday- you know, right before pitchers report and buried news-wise by the Super Bowl.
  18. This completes the McGuire/Diekman trade. Wait, it doesn’t?
  19. Two months from now, people will be tailgating for the opener. Plenty o time to warm up to this team. Just push Cease back to #5 and hope the Sox grab a win in Houston.
  20. RIP Cindy Williams, 75
  21. I guess time will tell, but I don’t think there’s a chance in hell he throws a pitch in a Sox uniform.
  22. I’m just going to assume Clevinger won’t be there on Feb 15, and he’ll never pitch for the Sox. That’s what I’m expecting. If it turns out the Sox lose money, then it’s just another thing on the list that makes this organization one of the worst in MLB…starts at the top. Now go sign Wacha.
  23. Kind of strange he died on December 20. There are tweets on that day that he died, but it didn’t get reported until today. Had a good career too.
  24. Peters pitched in two September, 1959 games. There are six remaining living players from the pennant winning team: Luis Aparicio, SS and Ken McBride, P Lou Skizas, OF and Claude Raymond, P played in April of 59. Joe Hicks, OF and JC Martin, 3B were also September call ups.
