Rob Thomson had some real good quotes today on Kevin Long. Basically how much confidence he gives his hitters. I’m sold on that guy being qualified to take over a team, especially when we need our core guys to hit for some power.

If they don’t play tonight, they’re considering pushing back everything by a day. So a game 6 and 7 would be Saturday and Sunday night.

There might not be an off day if they get rained out tonight.

Listening to Levine and Haugh talking about the manager situation. Brought up many names in the last 20 minutes, including Espada. Never once brought up Kevin Long.

Caught the Long interview. Seems like a good communicator and obviously he has a great reputation. Russo tried to end the interview with a “you’re going to get a manager job”. Long laughed it off with a hand wave and they ended it. Until it’s not him, it’s him. Just have to wait until the Series is over.
