I don’t know about anyone else, but as long as the Guardians are alive, I’ll be rooting for them. They play hard, have the best manager, the youngest team. There’s just a lot to like about them. I don’t care they are a “division rival”, whatever that’s supposed to mean. Besides, we’re a few years away from not being in the same division anyway.

Arenado hit the s%*# out of one today that didn’t go out, but the wind helped. It’s terrible if MLB wants juiced balls in the postseason. Just make it fair and let us watch some real baseball. It’s not that fucking complicated, Manfred.

Not to be a downer, but it’s just awful that Sarah Langs has ALS. I saw her about a month ago really speaking slowly, and thought she had a stroke I didn’t hear about. Hopefully she will stay happy for as long as possible. Such an unfair thing.

16 meaningless games in baseball today makes me happy. It worked out ok with 6 teams on each league making postseason, but the trade off is no drama on the last day. And thank god they didn’t go to 7 playoff teams! 6 is pushing it but let’s learn from this season! Enough with mediocre to bad teams making the playoffs. Now the next step…eliminating divisions and seeding in order.

The Tigers had it right. For the most part, they didn’t retire numbers until the player was in the Hall. I like team Halls of Fame that you can honor past players without permanently retiring numbers or building statues. Enough with the statues…please!

You give Vaughn 150+ games at 1b batting 3rd and a new clubhouse dynamic, you won’t be disappointed. But by all means, trade him and re-sign a 36 yr old, because he’s so loyal to our losing franchise.
