With all of the managerial openings coming up, going to be interesting to see what postseason teams allow their coaches to interview this month. Espada makes a lot of sense for the Sox…and a few other teams too.

I don’t care who they hire as long as it isn’t a cheater like Beltran. Hire somebody that’s qualified and doesn’t have proven record of being a dickhead.

As soon as the Padres clinch, they should lose as much as possible to get on the other side of the bracket as the Dodgers. I’m starting to understand why teams with higher seeds should be able to choose an opponent. It shouldn’t be a better thing to be a 6-seed than a 5-seed.

Lynn vs Snell Padres magic number for 6-seed is 1 on the Brewers. They play at 1, so the Padres may clinch mid game. 5-seed magic number on the Phillies is 3.

I’ll just give my 2 cents…Sandy Alomar deserves a shot unless there’s something about him I don’t know.

I’m sure whatever Margalus wrote was correct, but whatever man. He’s been gone a month and we’ve know at least two weeks his managerial career is over. We’re on to the rest of decision makers and fixing this roster and the attitude of some of the players that will still be here next year in our “winning” window.
