  1. Robert Blake, 89
  2. Giolito vs the Cubs tomorrow. Clevinger vs SD on Saturday. Calendar is starting to form what we may see the first five games. Hopefully it will be a healthy Cease, Giolito, Clevinger, and maybe Kopech in Houston, and they hold Lynn back for the home opener.
  3. TA 1-4, double 2 k Eloy playing for DR, played LF, 1-2 vs Twins Ruiz (Venezuela) scoreless inning vs Mets
  4. Not a big deal, just messing. Saw it wrong on MLB Network a couple days ago. Kinda cringed.
  5. Moncada grounds out weakly on the first pitch, down 4 runs. Robert rbi single
  6. Kind of hard to compare the two sports in this area. Most fans of baseball only watch their own team- and there are 162 of them. Then there’s the pace of play issue. The gambling aspect of football that you accept most of it is a Sunday sport. I love the new pitch timer, and I don’t even need to see it in the background or on the score bug. As long as they’re playing faster, it’s going to be a success for fans of MLB.
  7. Only one thing for Robert to do this year- stay on the field. Need 650 PAs and world class defense.
  8. Nobody get hurt
  9. On today Friday on Marquee and Sunday at 3 (spring forward)
  10. Sox, Twins, Guardians, Royals, Tigers Just have to stay healthy Also want to see how the balanced schedule impacts the final records. Might be a s%*# show in the Central divisions.
  11. Any of the core guys mentioned that stay off the IL all season should certainly start 150 games. Colas will be a see how it goes guy. Andrus should start 135.
  12. And if they maintain the playing every team in baseball, you can play the 7 teams in your division 13 games (maybe minus 1). And the other 24 teams 3 games. 162. Easy.
  13. I get pissed when people suggest 4-team divisions in baseball. Ex- 1994 Texas Rangers. Manfred is a moron. If (when) they go to 32, 4 divisions of 8 teams makes way more sense. I really don’t know how many divisions games you would need to play in a 4-team division to avoid under .500 teams winning weak divisions. It should be 4 division winners and the rest are wildcards.
  14. Will not pitch in spring training. Should be back in May.
  15. It’s time to ride or die with the core guys, Vaughn included. Let’s at least find out how good these guys are by them staying on the field. If they fail, at least we found out by seeing them play. Vaughn, Moncada, Anderson, Robert, Eloy, Benintendi…they all play 150+ if they’re on the active roster.
  16. Looking forward to a binge watch in a couple weeks. Favorite Sox regular season ever.
  17. Cold, rainy, and a wind advisory this afternoon. So no tv is probably not an issue today.
  18. If it’s inevitable he’s on the team to start, I’d hope he starts the third game in Houston. If he starts April 1, 7, and 12, his first three starts are on the road.
  19. Bump MLB Tonight 5pm
