The twitter link isn't working - could someone post the actual lineup?
Eaton, Cabrera, Abreu, LaRoche, Garcia, Gillaspie, Ramirez, Flowers, Johnson

Is the final 25 set yet?
The roster has to be set by 2pm tomorrow.
We know 24, and it's down to Drabek or Surkamp...but it's probably Drabek.

If the Sox win 2 of 3 against KC, I'll start believing.
If the Sox win 1 of 3 against KC, I will try not to get mad. Somebody remind me I said this if we go 1-2.
If the Sox get swept, it will be very annoying and the only reason I might not freak out is because the Royals did reach the World Series.
Right now would I take 1-2 if it was offered to me as a certainty? Probably not. I'd want to play it out and see if the Sox can scratch out 2 of 3.
That said ... will any of you absolutely freak out if Sox go 0-3?
If it's realistic to want the Sox to go 10-9 in the season series against the Royals, Tigers, and Indians, starting out 0-3 would not be good.
Freaked out? No. But nobody wants to start with a deficit that needs to be made up.

The day Danks is no longer in the rotation is a GREAT day to be a Sox fan. Danks is a shell of his former self and If not for the bad contract would of been released or traded already.
I'll take his 2014 season this season in a heartbeat. Now will he put up 20 quality starts again? We'll see.
Maybe he just needs a little regular season adrenaline.
Don't give up on Danks just yet.

Not that I minded your post but I forsee myself getting fed up with people talking about 10 years ago as the season goes on.
Fair enough. I'd probably enjoy the whole 10 year anniversary thing a lot more if they actually didn't suck so much over the last 10 years.
I'll let it go.
10 years ago today...
The Sox and Mark Buehrle beat the Indians 1-0 in a tidy 1 hour 51 minutes.
The beginning of a championship season.
(and then the Illini lost to NC)

Delayed yet again or what?
They hacked everyone but Surkamp and Drabek after the game tonight, and Onelki Garcia and Maikel Cleto were dropped from the 40-man to make room for Soto, Johnson, and Albers.
Expect Sanchez and Drabek to be on the team for 5-6 days, and be replaced by Sale and Petricka next Sunday.
At minimum, give him 6 starts. Sale, Shark, and Q are the three we're relying on.
Anything before May 10th is a panic move.
edit--one caveat...unless his velocity is so low that a DL stint is needed.
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 3, 2015 -> 08:05 PM)
I hope Garcia clears. Not worried about Cleto.
I want Drabek to be the long guy in the pen or 5th starter. No need for Surkamp with 3 lefties and I think he still has options left.
If he was outrighted, he already cleared.
Cleto and Onelki Garcia outrighted to Charlotte, and the rest...

The 28 left in camp includes Sale and Petricka.
The last spot belongs to Drabek or Surkamp.
...and this weekend Albers, Soto, and Micah Johnson will be added to the 40-man.
