  1. Charlotte lost. Mitchell...not a good start to his season. System is gross. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20130410
  2. If the Tigers and Blue Jays can't play the next couple days, they're both going to have some serious scheduling issues. Which is nice.
  3. I don't think they'll DL him. It'll be few days that'll turn into a week. That's more White Sox. If they had to bring up anyone, I hate to say it, it'll probably be Morel.
  4. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 09:57 PM) Maybe...the bullpen was pretty bad tonight as well. (Other than Lindstrom) Kudos to the offense for not giving up. Lets tip our hat to the Nats... they have a good team! Hopefully we can kick their butts tomorrow and possibly even pull off a series win on Thursday. We'll see. I'm trying not to get worked up about a team I have no idea is good or not. All I know is that they need 50 wins by July 8 if they're going to contend. I'd like them to get there. It's going to take good defense, a good enough bullpen, and a smart manager.
  5. So can we go back to where Peavy walked the guy after the homer, and Ventura left him in?
  6. QUOTE (lord chas @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 08:33 PM) Dayan even taken one walk this year? Probably not. Bryce Harper hasn't either.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 08:30 PM) PK! Ugh, that decision to let Peavy stay in really stings. They had a pizza party last night. Ventura rules.
  8. Don Cooper is probably eating hospital jello watching this s***.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 08:08 PM) Sox starters are seemingly done after 80 pitches so far this year in terms of having anything left in the tank. I wonder if that's happening around baseball. There have been a lot of good pitchers that didn't have good second starts this year for some reason.
  10. I'm hoping for the best, but is anyone going to be surprised if the Sox are 11-16 on May 1st? This team could go either way.
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 08:03 PM) Why was Myers coming out of the pen? Thought he was going to be a starter It's possible they were skipping him, but necessity with the Carrasco ejection.
  12. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 08:01 PM) So turning Brett Myers into a starter was a terrible idea lol He came out of the pen tonight. Carrasco came back from a suspension from 2011, then promptly got ejected for hitting Youkilis.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 07:59 PM) Rey Olmedo, your time to shine. It's still Ray.
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 07:44 PM) Sox did and paid him as such. 3 yrs/12 mil....kind of in between. They overpaid to get SOMEBODY in there. He's a journeyman player that can hit lefties and had a great year last year. If Gillaspie makes the most of his opportunities, it could be more of a platoon thing.
  15. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 07:40 PM) Kepp has been horrid in the 2 spot. I never really thought of him as a 150 game kind of guy anyway. We'll see more of Gillaspie, and there's a chance he'll play himself into a regular.
  16. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 9, 2013 -> 07:31 PM) Peavy very angry. God Bless it!
  17. Gio at 84 pitches. We got that going for us.
