White Sox vs A's 1:10 PM
I thought it was a decent gamble to send Beckham. No 3rd base coach is perfect.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 01:53 PM) Why the f*** does Rey Olmedo have sunglasses on in his MLB.com profile pic? Does his profile have Ray or Rey?

Jays are breaking a 5-game losing streak today. Sox will still be going up there wth them on a 3-11 run.

2012 White Sox Catch-All thread
If you have a Sox schedule and the game time says TBA for Aug 30, the Orioles have finally announced a time--11:35am Chicago time. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...al&c_id=bal

2012 Minor League Catch All thread
I think there are too many minor league geeks (I'm one of them too, so I can say that) that hear what one scout has to say and they take it as gospel. Sanchez is 20. I'd like to see what he can do over the next couple years before saying what he'll be 5-10 years from now.

We're going to need Sale to be really on to win this game. Like, 8 innings, 1 run.

The Division Race - Road to 90 Wins
50 games left. Go 6-4 five times, and we're in good shape. But I'll take 7-3 three times, then 5-5 the last two.

Angels lose too. Believe me, that's almost just as important.

Konerko out for a week...blessing in disguise?

8/11 games
Sanchez 3-4. If his ceiling is a 9-hole hitter that can hit .280 and play a decent 2B, then it's better than what we have. Seeing that he's 20, I don't think we know what his ceiiling is yet.

8/11 games
I predict Axelrod starts for the White Sox on Thursday or Friday.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 05:53 PM) Did WGN always have this pre-game show, this interview with Gregor and Merkin seemed all kinds of awkward. They usually have one on the weekends with Dan Roan. Rich King sounds like he had stroke.

How about a good old fashioned ass kicking tonight? 8 runs in the first few innings, tack on a few more....Liriano 7 good innings.

Sabathia back on the DL. Sox probably weren't going to face him anyway.

The Wild Card Division
Final 50 games: Sox: Home-24 Away-26 Above .500- 22 Below .500- 28 Tigers: Home- 25 Away- 25 Above .500- 22 Below .500- 28 Orioles: Home- 26 Away- 24 Above .500- 26 Below .500- 24 A's: Home- 21 Away- 29 Above .500- 28 Below .500- 22 Rays: Home- 22 Away- 28 Above .500- 29 Below .500- 21 Angels: Home- 29 Away- 21 Above .500- 26 Below .500- 24 A's and Orioles---No chance Rays---Maybe. They have the pitching Tigers will probably win the division unless the Sox beat them head-to-head. Then it's Angels or Rays at Sox or Tigers in the Wild Card Game.

The Wild Card Division
Sox play their 112th game tonight. If they win, these are the records with 50 games left: Sox 62-50 Det 60-52 Oak 60-52 Bal 60-52 TB 60-52 LAA 59-53 Obviously, one of the two Central teams will win the division. Breaking down the final 50-game schedules, the Tigers are either going to win the division, or they are going to host the Wild Card game with Verlander on the mound.
