Yes. I think a healthy, professional, baseball player in his prime who needs 126 swings at a stationary ball to complete 18 holes (and after 60 rounds experience), speaks volumes. My wife shoots better than that and she's played maybe 10 times.

LOL, how can you play golf for 60 straight days and not break 126???? A small child should be able to play the whole course with just a putter and beat that.... You suck, Alex.

FOOTBALL! USC! KENNY!

Who knows with pitching - especially once you get past 3 spots. WAR-wise - Beckham is up there as he should be. C - I'd put Mauer @1, then Avila and who cares. 1B - No argument 2B - Beckham has to be #1 here 3B - Chisenhall should be last. Valencia moves to 3, Morel to 4. SS - No argument LF - Jesus - They're all s***. Ok. CF - YES YES YES RF - No. Josh, Viciedo, Francouer, Drunk-Choo. (This one looks way off to me) DH - Who cares; Dunn is last The pitching is a crap shoot.

1.)- Totally Agree here. 2.)- Ok...good. 3.) - A qualification here - you do this for 1/2 season. If they're good (or one is decent, other not, maybe both average etc.) do a deal and move them BOTH if you can. NEITHER is a fit for this team so get rid of them (or either of them) when the perceived value presents itself. I mean...like the MINUTE either/both looks any good. F***ing garbage, both of them. 4.) I don't know what you mean here. "Extended looks?" They have #s or not. Every single one of these guys you mention are non-starters/bench. Who gives a s***? 5.)- I have absolutely NO IDEA what you mean here. I sort of 1/2 quipped about a post somewhere else were it was projected Dunn will be the #2 producer on this team and I remarked he'd have to surpass Alexei.... It was obviously kind of silly but not really. Alexei is easily the most valuable player on this team. Let me know if you want to argue that. 6.) - No - Let Chris run. All the way. As FAR as he can go. Nobody is going to fall for that McCarthy s*** again. 7.) - Right, well.... we'll see, I guess.

Nobody disagrees, I guess....

So.... ??? Anything? -
This Visit New Posts link doesn't work. Why?

The under on what? Last year? Or the projection of being #2 behind KING? Shouldn't be difficult to better the former, and beating the latter ain't sayin alot..... I mean....out produce.....Alexei? That's probably the only competition. God, this team sucks.

So after 47 pages of posts - are we close/in in the running for Cespedes? Do we even want him? Where are we at with him? Wasn't he meeting with the Marlins yesterday or today? -
Oh? Anyways, I have no opinion of Carl Everett as a leader. In fact, I never even mentioned Carl Everett.

Who cares if he talks to the media now? -
No scoop, and no.... obviously am not and never have been present in the clubhouse. But I have been to the games and an avid follower of the team and am plenty qualified to discuss the product/result on the field. For a guy who has arguably been the best and most consistent hitter over the last 5 seasons (at least), I've not seen his "skills" translate to too many younger guys (or even acquired established guys). And I sure can't point to him as any type of inspirational type guy either, who helps keeps his teammates upbeat, focused, and performing as consistently "as him" despite the circus of mgmt and coaching and nepotistic douchebaggery surrounding them.... While Konerko has performed well, there's no arguing that the team has been pretty damn flat for 5 seasons. I mean - If Konerko is the Tony Robbins of the White Sox, then I'm their Ronnie Woo Woo. Or maybe Jeter has played for the Yankees his entire career - an organization with the $ to keep their rosters packed with veterans along with their coaching, staffing, and management positions; all holding themselves to a level of professionalism that is light years beyond the Sox to the degree that it's a steadfast tradition ACTIVELY DEMANDED by owernship over decades. But yeah, Konerko is slow so like....that's why Gordon Beckham spells "f**" in the dirt during games and can't hit his weight.
-
I'll say it - If Konerko's "skills" as a captain are what will make or break Robin as manager, he's in deep s***.

So, are we going to sign this almost 30 year old who makes great workouut tapes, or what? -
I really hate Alex Rios. I know this has nothing to do with anything.... I'm sorry. Carry on.
-
Or his dumb ass kid blabs about them all over Twitter....

Not really an area of weakness for the Sox though (except the covering up part). Numbers wise, they've been successfully patching together bullpens with retreads, fix-ums, converts, and trades for awhile now.
