I never looked at it from that stand point. I know both Alomar's have been to the World Series. But yeah, Other then a few guys that have been to the playoffs we don't have anybody that knows what it takes to win. David Wells was supposed to be that guy for us, But we all know how that turned out...

Like I always say. I try and not worry with what other teams r doin. Just focus on this team for now. Our moment of truth will come when we play the Royals and Twins. The Twins r playin good baseball right now as are the Royals. As far as me feeling good cause the M's r gonna face Garcia...The Twins beat Mulder, Hudson, And Zito in their last series.. Just focus on our guys people...

I think u guys r jumpin the gun on Big Frank's comments about the 500 hr's. Nothing wrong with havin a personal goal here and there u wanna reach. I don't think Frank is thinkin about hittin 60-70 a year like Bonds or Sosa. But i'm sure Frank feels that he has 3-4 good years left. I think he meant over that time he wanted to reach 500 hr's...Not that he would start swingin for the fences every at bat....

I'm lookin forward to seeing Colon pitch today. I got a good feeling he'll turn in a good performance. This guy is too damn good to struggle too much longer. I hope the offense can get him some early support....

Well i'll go on and say Frank will hit 40 hr's this year. That means 18 more which will bring his total to 416. That means he would be 84 away. Frank's got atleast 3 good years left. I can see him hitting 84 in that period of time...Remember he was horrible last year and still hit 28...Go for it Franky boy

I must admit i was skeptical when we 1st signed this guy. And I was ready to give him the boot when he got off to a shaky start. But the last couple of months or so this guy has been outstanding. In a year when our pen has pretty much sucked he's been one of 2 lone bright spots. No tellin where we would be right now with Flash. I just pray to god he stays healthy. Man that curveball is nasty

I remember reading about this guy a few months ago. He's supposed to be the al's version of Mark Prior from what I read. This guy totally destroyed the minor leagues...He's called up for his 1st start against a 1st place team and totally shuts em down. Zito, Mulder, Hudson, And now Harden. Ummmmm..... let's see..... JM has started the same line-up the last 3-4 games and we win 3 out of our last 4. Posters here have been screaming for a consistent line-up since f***ing May.....
