How do u figure? When Buehrle and Colon r right combined with Loaiza they're just as good as Zito, Mulder, and Hudson. Garland is right on the cusp of something special...And if we get a 5th starter why couldn't we have the best rotation?

I just wanna give our starting staff a salute for the job they've done...Everybody is talkin about the offense but when they went AWOL the 1st 3 monhts it was the pitching that kept us in the race. I don't wanna even think about how far we woulda been out if the pitching hadn't been as good as it was.

With Mark and Bartolo pitchin the way they can....Loazia doin his thing...Garland getting better and better...And Hopefully a decent 5th starter we might have the best starting staff in baseball...And yes that includes the f***in A's...

The Twins also lost. That team is really scufflin. I guess all the luck and breaks they got last year was a fluke...

I think Maggs is up to .322 right now. I hope the rest of the world starts to recognize how special this guy is. How he's not makin the all-star team year after year baffles me. Take Sosa and all his bulls*** cork driven hr's and shove up your ass. The best player in Chicago for the last 2 years has been Maggs...

I like it...This guy put has put up some pretty solid numbers this year. I think they said he' sportin a 2.67 era in his last 30 outings. And he pitched well for the Angels last year in his last 30 outings or so. So now we gotta a guy that can hold the forte down in the 6th and 7th to set it up for Gordon and Marte. As far as what we gave up...Who gives a f***. We're goin for it all this year. It's all about makin it to the playoffs. After that everything is fair game. I'd like to see 1 more deal done before the deadline. A 5th starter would complete this team....

I'm waiting for Borchard, Rauch, Munoz, and all the rest of our "hyped up" prospects to do something...

I'd admit Frank has a big mouth sometimes. But i've always been in his corner. He's a proven superstar and even if he wasn't doin as well as he is now I'd be privelaged because I still got to see one of the great offensive forces of all time in his prime...

I feel that's disrespecting the Royals to say we're gonna sweep them or we have to sweep them. We don't have to sweep them...Sure it would be great but 2 outta 3 should be the goal. I like a lot of people dismissed the Royals after their hot start. But we're comin up on August. Anybody in 1st place this long is legit.

Actually Rowand played quite well last year after taking over for Lofton. He hit .292 with 7 HR and 27 RBI and 34 Runs in the 2 months and a week after Lofton left. Rowand had a bad month this year coming off an injury. He has been hot since coming back. He has hit .375 since coming back from Charlotte. Rowand has not been given a true enough look for anyone to say that he can't play everyday. WOW....I didn't know his numbers were that good...As far as his slump to start the season I attribute that to the severe motorclycle accident he had in the off-season. Many say Rowand was lucky to walk away alive. He no doubt in my mind deserves to play everyday somewhere...

I don't agree with that. Rowand has never played consistently enough to say who he is. I agree about Graffy though...
