We would be fools to dismiss the Twins at this point. They've got a much easier schedule then we do at this point. However unless their starting pitching comes around it won't matter anyway. We just gotta take care of our own business...

I'm gonna try and go to 2 gms next week if i can...I got 200 bucks for my birthday -
I hate to admit it. I think i get more joy out of a Cubs loss then I do a White Sox win :fthecubs :sosasucks

How? That was one of the softest liners I've ever seen back to the pitcher. I for one don't have a problem with a guy getting excited after a big play. Last year, did you have a problem with Osuna when he fanned Sosa to end the game? I sure as hell didn't. Zambrano looks as if he's tryin to show guys up. To get that excited over every lil play is stupid if u ask me...But like Bonds said. His fat ass will lean respect....

Some questions to answer in Seattle...

I agree about Colon. He straight dominated the Indians and D-rays in his last 2 starts. Another good performance against the M's would signal the full return of Bartolo Colon... -
lol...I didn't mean 50 more...I meant 50 total this season...

I don't know how anybody can debate who's the better team between the Sox and Royals. On paper the Sox r better...On the field when the Sox r right they're better. No way can this Royals team hang with us when we're playing the way we're capable. We've got a better starting staff...No doubt the better offense. Better bench. And at the very least just as good a bullpen. What I will give them though is that they have more team speed, Better defense, And has played small better to this point...
-
Exactly. Keep the intensity up. Don't let up because of the Royals sweep. The Sox have to prove to other playoffs contenders that they're a team to deal with....
-
Yeah man...Zambrano is VERY annoying. As far as Bonds though I don't see anything other than injury gettin in his way of Hank's record. The guy might hit another 50 or so this year. What would that bring his total to?
-
Everett has been ok since coming over. His power numbers have been down...But like somebody mentioned earlier he's gotten some keys hits for us. I think Everett will get it going soon. The hitting is really contagious for the Sox right now...
-
I agree. We don't have enough options right now to let White go...If Botch gets back on track then maybe...
-
Don't forget about Mench...He's a good one...
-
LMAO....How did u find that?
-
LMAO....This should be hilarious tonight...

No team in that division will ever have a chance of overtaking the Yanks. The Blue Jays, O's, And D-rays will never ever have a chance. Ny gets who they want when they want for nothing pretty much. Who have they ever given that's ever gone and done anything major in the big leagues? And i've also noticed that when they do get a player and he doesn't perform up to THEIR standards they will try and get rid of him ASAP...Like Raul Mondesi. They'll chew u up and spit u out in the blink of an eye...

Koch did apeear in 84 gms last year. Maybe that's had a carry over effect. It's hard to believe he's this bad without a good reason...
-
I did read somethin in the Herald about Bret Boone b****ing at management about not making a good move. If I remember correctly same thing happend last year. One of the main reasons Lou Pinella left...
-
If Billy pitches like we know he can we might have the best bullpen of all the possible playoff teams in the league...
-
I agree on giving Dan Wright another shot. He's been pitching very well in the minors of late. He does have a good history against the Mariners. Man if we can get the Dan Wright who finished the season strong last year. That would all but guarantee us a playoff spot...I say go after Appier only if he comes cheap. He was released for a reason...
-
Like i said a few days ago. We owe r pitching staff everything. When the offense went AWOL they were the guys that kept us in it to where we could even make a run at the division...
-
I'm just happy people r starting to take notice...We didn't get any love in 2000...

Sox are 15-1 to win the Series

I'll take those odds for now.... -
I've said for the last 3 years that Maggs was the better player. And other then hr's he has been. Don't get me wrong. Sammy is a great player. But I think the hr ball especially in today's gm is a lil overrated. How many of Sosa's hr's come when the Cubs r either losing big or in a very rare case winning big? How many clutch hr's has this guy had? When I think about guys I want up at the plate in a clutch situation I think Bonds, Ichiro, Pujols, Even Maggs. Sosa ain't even in my top 10 in that department...

I guess cause this happens so often it's not a big deal anymore

Yeah man...Stay away....lol
