This guys got a good point. When Bartolo was strugglin earlier in the year we all killed him. Now he's probably the hottest pitcher in the league and u still got fools hating. I've got nothin but love for Bartolo. Say what u want about Loaiza and Buehrle. Colon is the ACE of this staff....

I think these types of gms establish the Great pitchers from the good ones. Buehrle has to step it up tonight. Not just pitch well enough for the team to win. But out pitch one of the best in the game. I think the really great pitchers step their gm up a notch when going up against another great pitcher. It's gonna be really interesting. I think one of Danny's problems is he tries to get too cute sometimes. He has to realize he's not Greg Maddux. He's a power pitcher. He needs to go right at fools with his power stuff. As a set-up man or closer he can do this . He could go right at fools and not worry about them figuring him out or getting tired later in the game. I don't agree with experimenting with closers in August during a pennant race. But we desperately need some help from the right side of the pen. And like somebody else said. it's not like he would be taking anybody's job...

It's definitely not better than the a's big 3 (4 really) This year they're just as good, if not better. In the regular season, its close. However, i prefer to choose history when evaluating players, and the oakland trio is much better. Not to mention, they have much more playoff experience. Really, its a no brainer. I agree. They have a history of losing to everybody come playoff time...

I think Colon has pretty much silenced all his critics "mainly us" with these last 4 starts. He's been totally amazing. He's gotten HOT at exactly the right time. I take back everything I said about wanting to trade Bartolo a few weeks back...
