Welcome aboard chi sports... There have been several threads on Kong, I see it happening. LA don't have many options left. We will have to wait and see. No deal is a done deal, look at the Erstad trade a few years ago.

Reports are saying the deal is very close. Who else can the Dodgers go find; seeing how Sexson and Lee are already gone. They need a right handed bopper, we have one. They also want to trade Perez, I see the deal happening. I love this rotation, but our bullpen has alot of holes as of now, and we would need a 1B/DH to replace Kong (or move CLee to 1B and get a LF). This team has alot of holes.

Finally some stuff that is meant for me.

If the Mets sign Matsui, Reyes moves to 2B. I personally don't want anything the Mets have...and they are not going to trade Matsui.

They are fools if they think Lee is not enough by himself. I would want a prospect and Perez for Lee just to consider it.

Most of them make me wonder if some of these people watch baseball. I can't forget the one guy who wanted to make John Franco our closer. I have heard some awful trade ideas on here. I am excited for the Kong trade though.

Great for us, now the Dodgers won't have to worry about losing two pitchers and they'll do the Kong trade (they would have if they would have traded Brown to the Yanks).

I had an exam this morning at 8 am, and I have the final exam in that class on Monday. I had two exams so far this week, and alot of homework. Boy, has it sucked. I am ready for a break. I was suppose to put an outline for a course together for homework, but f*** that; too much work.

If they are going to throw Izturis in, they'd have to be sure they will get Matsui or another top SS. We would have to throw cash and/or prospects in, or another player. We have Uribe, Valentin, and Harris to play two positions, I don't think we need to add a fourth.

I think Everett will be back, especially if we can move Kong.

Better to go through this now, than to play a junk schedule and go through it later in the season. It hurts not having a true pg (they don't, the closest they have is a JuCo transfer who plays pg). They will be tough, just wait. It is too early to tell how they will be, but you guys are drilling them because of two losses to two of the best teams in the nation (granted they were ugly, huge losses). I can't believe you guys are saying Ohio State is better than MSU, just wait until December is a few weeks old, atleast. Tolbert, Hill, and Davis are good players, they will find their groove in time. They were a Elite 8 team last year, I couldn't imagine them falling off that bad, just cause they lost two of their better players.
