I brought up Jose Cruz Jr when someone started a thread about our fantasy lineup. You could do more than just Jose Cruz for Magglio. You could add Konerko, JT Snow couldn't hit a beachball anymore. That would give them two bats to get Barry some more pitches. One of their young pitchers would be nice, but they gave up a bit for Ponson, so I don't think they would give us any young pitchers. I think we would get some junk payroll back from the Giants though, but I could live. The Problem is that he's not saying we would get Cruz, He's sayin the Giants could put Cruz in center I believe Cruz is a free agent. The Giants signed him to a one year deal last winter, correct? He has a mutual option or a club option. I don't remember which one, but I know for a fact he has one. If we are going to trade Mags, we would have to get some type of field player out of it who can play everyday for us, or resign Carl to play right. I would think Grissom has another year or two left, and they are desperate for offense to help Bonds.
