I thought the announcers said that he aggravated his injury and didn't really play the 2nd half?

So they can compete with any team, but also lose to any team. Its a major improvement over the past few years. They will be a touchdown favorite in the next 2 games, win those and you are 5-3 halfway through and a half game back at most in the division, with 5 divisional games left. While I bet they fall short, they can easily improve, beat their rivals, and host a playoff game.

Jeez, Hawks getting destroyed by a good hockey team.

Their best player is non existent, they gave up a special teams TD, and their QB has missed several throws, yet they're still winning. Shows you just how close they are to being a SB contending team. See what I did there?

I dont know if it's the ankle or just opposition game planning, but Mack has been a ghost for the last 6 quarters.

Bump. Anybody still watch this shit? I think after the last few episodes, I'm finally over it, just not entertaining anymore, just too much of a random circus now.- NLCS: Dodgers vs Brewers
Caulfield is too excited to even post... Only so much a manager can do when your closer completely forgets how to pitch. Jeffress has been terrible.- NLCS: Dodgers vs Brewers
There will be second guessing of Hader this early, but it will be wrong. You are losing, you have to stop giving up runs. If a mediocre guy gives up runs now, Hader wont even be needed later.- NLCS: Dodgers vs Brewers
I get it. Every run counts and the pitcher wasnt gonna get it done. Chacin was most likely getting pulled by the 4th or 5th anyway, all hands on deck.- FIRE Movement (Financially Ind./Retire Early)
Damn, you guys are making me feel like a bad parent. My kids entire potential college funds are basically invested in rental properties at the moment, lol. (Though not by choice)- Official 2018-19 NFL Thread
And now it's even worse fan wise in the stands. It's only a 35k seat stadium, yet every game is majority opponents fans. I think they are actually a really good team this season, but they are essentially playing 16 road games, which is rough. This weekend in London might be their most neutral game.- Official 2018-19 NFL Thread
I'm sure there have been studies done, does the extra revenue a stadium brings in ever justify the cost if the city or taxpayers pay for it?- 2018-19 NCAA Basketball thread
It's weird though, nobody seems to care. In recent years, people would be going crazy over the details of this trail, but now it's just like whatever. There was more of an uproar when Louisville was getting their recruits laid.- Official NHL COVID season thread
Corey looked good, he wasn't really to blame last night. Although Arizona had 3 goals in their first 5 games, 4 last night, that's not a good look for the team.- Official 2018-19 NFL Thread
I feel like all of the struggling teams have pretty logical explanations as to why they are struggling though. LA is never been a loyal sports town. The Raiders were always Oakland's team, so LA never caught on to them, then their stadium situation was so shitty in Oakland. Florida is not the most loyal either, and Jacksonville might just be too small. San Diego had the worst stadium in the league and taxpayers refused to pay for a new one. The Redskins are struggling, but fans will be back once the owner stops being so incompetent.- 2018-19 NCAA Basketball thread
You can make close to that much money at a big time college program, where you would get way more hype and exposure and girls than the D-league, I don't know if it would entice the super top recruits. Definitely more mid-range kids though.- Official NHL COVID season thread
Meh. Panik, Hinostroza, and Oesterle will be much more meaningful. ?- NLCS: Dodgers vs Brewers
So maybe Kershaw doesn't suck in the playoffs after all. Small sample sizes, blah blah blah- FIRE Movement (Financially Ind./Retire Early)
I hope they do a "Where are they now?" five and ten years from now, because I have a feeling that things won't be so rosy then, especially if the market takes any hits. Writers love to do these pieces to get clicks, but there's always some minor details left out about the subjects, and in reality 99.9% of the population just doesn't have the ability to pull these moves.- Official NHL COVID season thread
I'll believe it when I see #50 make that first save.- NLCS: Dodgers vs Brewers
And Counsell screws it up by leaving Woodruff in way too long.- NLCS: Dodgers vs Brewers
Wade Miley pulled after walking the lead off hitter. But it was the plan all along, as he will start game 6 and the Dodgers now have a lineup geared towards LHP to face the Brewers righty bullpen arms. You cant make this shit up.- So is no one falling on the sword for 2018?
How many years did it take doing it the normal way? 80+ years? The Cubs rebuilt and within the same decade had a WS and 4 consecutive playoff trips, with more possible coming up. But sure, lightning in a bottle was genius on the Sox part. Their 4 playoff trips took 25 years.- So is no one falling on the sword for 2018?
The two teams in this city have combined for two World Series titles in the last 202 combined seasons, yet you think the Cubs rebuild was poor because they only won one World Series? - The Challenge: Vendettas Thread
