  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 06:46 PM) That was almost blocked. I think he was called offside, but let's ignore that to not ruin the drama. Ball went right between his arms, crazy, so close.
  2. QUOTE (Spod=Ratings @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 06:55 PM) It's sad Bears fans only postseason excitement is rooting against packers. Seems like a very Cub thing to do... As opposed to all the Sox fans that root against the Tigers during the playoffs? It's sports, you root for your team, against your rivals, all part of the fun. It's not like the Bears were playing and fans were ignoring it to root against Green Bay.
  3. QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 04:28 PM) Mostly just general crime and security. However it's a big concern. They don't trust the local group to provide the security. Big concerns of bribery. More bribery than Russia? Is that possible?
  4. 49ers straight dominating, but can't get in the end zone so it's only 6-0. Packers playing the ultimate bend but don't break defense so far.
  5. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 12:09 PM) So like Frank Thomas? He looks like a college football player to me, not a baseball player who suddenly juiced and grew. But that's why Frank is 99.9% clean, not 100%, because of the era.
  6. So which fanbase has it worse? Bengals or Chiefs?
  7. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 10:41 AM) So is UCLA's Hundtley. Seems like PAC QBs stay that extra year often. If he doesn't need the money, I think I would rather spend another year in sunny LA surrounded by young coeds, instead of moving to Cleveland or Minneapolis.

    Alright begin

When people actually remember the letter V
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 10:38 PM) Then why assume Piazza is? Giambi just looks like a big country boy too. Ok fine. Then Thome or Giambi shouldn't get in before Bonds or Clemens either.
  10. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 10:06 PM) Then I would love to hear your reasoning behind keeping Thome and Griffey out of the Hall of Fame. Who is keeping them out of the Hall of Fame? Griffey has never looked to be on the roids at all. And I guess Thome did gain a lot of weight from his early baseball cards, he just seemed like a big country boy, never super ripped and muscular.

Oh I thought you said Boston...
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 09:23 PM) Except that he's guilty by association, and I have yet to see any valid association of Piazza with steroid users. Blame Bud for that. From that era, if he looked like a steroid user and hit like a steroid user, then I would say he was a steroid user. Don't see why he should get the benefit of the doubt.
  13. On that drive it seemed like Eagles fans are as bad as Bears fans, cheering when the offense has the ball.

    Alright begin

Maybe they can tell us one more time what high schools these two quarterbacks went to
  15. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 08:12 PM) Piazza not going in is somewhat criminal imo Not if the other steroid guys are getting denied too
  16. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 06:48 PM) I was listening to a teleconference with Paulie a couple of weeks ago. He has no interest in coaching or managing in the major leagues at least for several years. I'd assume he wants to spend more time with his 16,000 square foot house. And I guess his three children too.
  17. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 07:27 PM) Would have been a 60 yard FG, but even if he makes it, Luck has 1:55 and 2 timeouts to get into FG range. It would have been dumb to kick there. Agreed. Had it been a 7-6 defensive struggle, then maybe you kick. But with the way the KC defense was playing, the risk was not worth the reward.
  18. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 07:06 PM) One of the better NFL games ever Unless you are a Chiefs fan, lol. Maybe the early season defensive success had more to do with all the backup QBs they faced than anything else. In 20+ years. Kansas City fans haven't seen a single playoff game won, baseball or football.
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 03:07 PM) After Nunn's "incidental" contact. Newbill deserved his ejection, but Nunn probably deserved a technical or something, blatantly ran into him. Do like to see a freshman show some toughness though. Penn State is really really bad at basketball, that was ugly
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 04:23 PM) "So the first time Trent Richardson touches the football he fumbles it" Everyone that called it one of the worst trades ever was right. Except the Colts were the losing side. It wasn't his Browns teammates fault the whole time, it was actually him sucking that badly.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 11:41 AM) You have to win your conference first and foremost to make the playoff. Some teams may need an extra marquee win but most won't. Win your conference and your conference title game and you are most likely in. Even better when it goes to 8 teams. You don't have to win your conference. They will just select the four best teams. It was a consensus that Alabama was a lock had the playoff been in place this year.
  22. QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 10:46 AM) AJ is Steve Stone's replacement. AJ as a broadcaster >>>>> AJ as a manager
  23. LittleHurt05

    Alright begin

Don't tweet the wrong Chris Conte like the other silly Bears fans did
  24. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 09:20 AM) I'd say ooc games are about to be a lot more important. There's going to be more one loss teams battling for a playoff spot than undefeateds. With an actual human committee, your OOC schedule will definitely be way more important. They aren't just gonna look at total losses like the voters do now. If you are a one loss team that played nobody, I could see them instead selecting a two loss team with a much tougher schedule, even if both are BCS schools
