Cargo would be good for this team beyond just this year. He might not be the hitter he once was a few years back and he might have health issues, but he's a huge upgrade over Avi.

3.5 games back of a pretty mediocre Twins team. Sweep Boston and we should probably be buyers. Hell, the Jays are a game under and they just traded for Tulo.

God damn it, this team actually has a shot at a WC spot, but there's a very good chance we start slumping again after the trade deadline. Whether or not we trade Samardzija is gonna come down entirely on how we do the next 3 days.

Yordano Ventura optioned to AAA. Good to see him struggle after all the stupid s*** he pulled early in the year.
