  1. England had been in bad form before this game and they're absolutely stomping Iran. Win against Wales and we might be able to advance from the group just because England might beat everyone.
  2. Maybe he'll stop pulling every inside pitch into the ground next year.
  3. Yeah as much as I don't like the Padres for stealing everybody we try to sign or trade for, I'd much rather he go there than the Cubs, Guardians, or Astros.
  4. LaVine needs to throw himself under the bus for his play. 1 of 14 from the field against Orlando? Really?
  5. Yeah I actually think Yoan could benefit from extra ABs before the season. Luis needs to be bubble wrapped.
  6. Can't wait for both to get hurt playing in meaningless games.
  7. He's straight up missing throws average QBs make. You can argue that he and his receivers aren't on the same page, but he's missing wide open guys like Trubisky used to.
  8. https://www.mlb.com/news/kyle-lewis-trade-diamondbacks-mariners
  9. Is this just another way to say bench coach?
  10. Probably not, but Winker's offensive peripherals last year were pretty bad. His exit velo dropped a lot, as did his hard hit % and barrel%. It wasn't just him moving to Seattle that caused a lot of his issues. He straight up wasn't hitting the ball as hard as he did in Cincy.
  11. I totally forgot about Gurriel. Merrifield is more of a utility guy, so I doubt they would want him in the OF full-time.
  12. He's also coming off shoulder surgery. It's his right shoulder and he throws with his left, so maybe it won't affect him too much in the OF. I'm not sure what the implications of a shoulder injury are for a hitter though.
  13. I doubt teams claim him at $4 million.
  14. Nimmo and Conforto are definitely on their radar.
  15. The Sox would totally claim Raimel Tapia. I guess he's not bad as a 4th OFer.
  16. Teoscar doesn't make sense for this team. He destroys lefties, but is just alright against righties. We have a bunch of those types of hitters on the team already.
  17. Yeah, who the hell are the Blue Jays gonna play in the OF? Are they gonna sign 2 OFers?
  18. The Angels do seem to botch all their FA signings.
  19. He's gonna be 33 next year. With his style of pitching, I doubt he ages that poorly.
  20. No, it's gonna be 3 years and $75 mil cause Jon Heyman said so.
  21. It'd feel like the Jim Thome situation all over again.
  22. It would be kinda funny if one Cuban replaces another. I hate the idea of Jose playing for Houston though.
  23. This is a good sign that the SP market is pretty good. I can totally see the Sox getting Clevinger. Especially since the Angels were one of the teams after him. With Anderson, it gives them 5 starters for next year.
  24. He's shown that he's at least an average starter the last 3 seasons once he got out of Colorado. I don't expect him to replicate last year but I don't think it's a stretch to say he's a 2.5 WAR type pitcher.
  25. 3 and 39 is less than what FG had as their median crowd source. Pretty reasonable deal for a guy coming off a 4 WAR season.
