  1. Way the manifest a comeback caulfield.
  2. And Tony would have walked him with 2 strikes.
  3. I hate the Guardians, but I can't complain about the Yankees getting knocked out.
  4. Gonzalez is just so good against low breaking balls. I've only watched him so much, but every time I've watched him he's hammered them. Even ones almost in the dirt. It's funny cause Schmidt hung 2 sliders and Gonzalez just fouled them off. He finally throws a good one low and away, but close to the zone, and Gonzalez walks him off.
  5. All I know is that if Schmidt keeps throwing those low breaking balls against Gonzalez, he's gonna walk it off.
  6. There's really nobody nearly as talented as them if Cleveland and San Diego pull off the upsets.
  7. lmao of course
  8. I'm guessing Holmes isn't available, cause I don't get using Clarke Schmidt here.
  9. They probably win the first 2 games if they just pitched around Yordan.
  10. Eventually Robbie Ray is gonna have to face Alvarez.
  11. Julio saved at least a run and now he is due up first.
  12. It's now the longest scoreless postseason game ever.
  13. I propose they change the rule from man on 2nd to man on 1st. For both the regular and post season.
  14. Gimenez had a 40 point difference between his wOBA and xwOBA, it's very possible he isn't as good next year. He doesn't profile the same as a guy like Kwan. A huge reason the Guardians were so good is because of how much contribution they got from their rookies. Usually when guys who weren't known as great prospects come up and do well, they regress in their second year.
  15. Rosario is the player they can afford to lose. He's nothing special, just extremely annoying to play against with how many cheap hits he gets.
  16. I thought Servais should have gone to Swanson in game 1 against Alvarez. Swanson just proved me right. His splitter vs. lefties is very good.
  17. Get ready for the Sox to sign him.
  18. Is this just a ploy to get a better hitting coach?
  19. Pressly in for the 9th without a lead. Never thought I'd see Dusty do that.
  20. The playoffs are more fluky than ever, especially this new format. None of the teams that got a bye have played well. The Astros would be down 2-0 if it wasn't for Yordan Alvarez. All you gotta do is get in and hope your team gets hot. The Sox could have done that had they made a change at manager in June or July.
  21. The Braves pitching just hasn't been good outside of Kyle Wright. Strider reminds me of Rodon last year. Both he and Fried were injured towards the end of the year. Just bad timing for the Braves.
  22. Strider looked way off in the 3rd inning.
  23. This Guardians team is the 2000s Twins reincarnated.
  24. Why the hell did Ramirez want to stay in Cleveland so badly? As Joakim Noah once said...
