  1. He also changed his IG picture to him as a kid wearing a shirt with a bear on it.
  2. Was his source Wesley Steinberg? lmao
  3. Not trying to trade 1 of DeRozan or LaVine is front office malpractice. They don't work together at all.
  4. I don't hate the Chiefs, but the whining from earlier in the year really rubbed me the wrong way. They already get a lot of favorable calls, but they had the nerve to throw a fit over a correct offsides call. Plus they're in the Superbowl all the time, so I get why people would have Chiefs fatigue. Throw in Taylor Swift being a polarizing figure to football fans and I can definitely see why people would root against them.
  5. Topa is 32 and is a reliever.
  6. Posts rumor...proceeds to say he dreamt it up. Who the hell does that?
  7. I thought Lamar played a lot like Fields yesterday lol. But a bad Lamar game is like a pretty good Fields game. The meta defense against mobile QBs is to stay in your gaps and not necessarily try to sack them, but keep them in the pocket and cut off their escape lanes. Seems like that strategy is working pretty well.
  8. I thought if he wanted to be aggressive it should have been at the end of the first half. Not when your team blew a 17 pt lead and needed something to get them back in the game. They also had plenty of time left in the game where if they allowed the Niners to score after they would have had a shot to tie the game.
  9. I did not expect the Lions to look this good.
  10. Yeah I'm not sure he has the numbers to be in the hall. His peak was great, but very short. His bWAR and fWAR are both in the low 50s. That's usually not enough to get in, even at a position with shorter longevity like catcher.
  11. I can't believe they let Grayson Allen screw them again. The fact that they took the basket away is just insane to me. The shot was already in the air. The "foul" happened after the shot was on its way in. It's one thing if the foul happened before the shot, but this was well after the shot and had no effect on getting the shot off. It shouldn't even be a foul. In fact if they hadn't called it an and-1 they don't even challenge. DeRozan scraping Allen's arm on the way down from a shot should be a no call at worst. The way they officiated this game differently all night for Phoenix and then handed them 2 challenges is a terrible look. DeMar was getting fouled all night and had to b**** and moan endlessly to get some calls in the 3rd quarter.
  12. Isn't Pete more of a defensive guy? Hard to believe that Pete telling Geno Smith to believe in himself made him a pro bowl QB after achieving nothing in his first 8 seasons.
  13. Hard to believe that he got less money than Kimbrel.
  14. That's a good problem to have. Cause that either means Williams had a good rookie year or Waldron ended up unlocking Fields. Either way you're in a good position to go on without Waldron.
  15. I mentioned this before, but Waldron's work with TEs and his use of 2 TE sets makes me think the Bears would be ok taking Bowers at 9 if Odunze and Fashanu are not there.
  16. If it was 2, it made not running even more baffling.
  17. The FG miss aside, I thought the Bills' play calling after the 2 minute warning was a huge headscratcher. They had a 2nd and 9 going into the 2 minute warning and the Chiefs had 3 timeouts. If you score a TD then and there, which is what they were going for on the first play out of the 2 minute warning, you're giving Mahomes the ball with 2 minutes left and 3 time outs. I'd say the chances of him scoring a TD to win the game are pretty good. If you throw the ball twice there and tie the game, which is what ended up happening, you leave Mahomes with at least 1:30 and 3 timeouts to get in FG range, which I would say is very likely to happen. I thought they should have at least tried to run the ball a few more times, burn KC's timeouts, and whatever happens happens. They ran the ball well all game and Cook was getting 6 yards a carry. Not trying to run some clock there when Mahomes is on the other sideline made no sense to me.
  18. Just about everything had gone right for the Packers the past 4 weeks until that 4th quarter. They were on a serious hot streak. Even their crappy defense was playing really well and their offense was turnover free and constantly moving the ball. Aaron Jones got healthy and got more carries which transformed their run game. AJ Dillon getting too many carries was hurting them. They also had no pressure on them being a 7 seed. You saw how much the pressure got to Dallas last week. Good thing Jordan Love tried to play hero ball when he really didn't need to. Seems like he loves trying to force throws to Watson in late and close situations. He's been picked 3 times this year on those throws.
  19. It honestly feels like Rick Hahn is the GM of the Astros now lol
  20. That is an insane amount of money for a closer. Houston doesn't even need him, Pressly was fine last year.
  21. I checked McNeil's twitter and it's there. I'm not sure if he still has sources anymore, but if I were Harbaugh and picking between the Chargers or Falcons, I'd pick the Chargers too just based on the roster situation. One team has a QB and one doesn't.
  22. The fucking Chargers with their 20 fans can afford Harbaugh, but the Bears can't...
  23. You need an account to see the comments.
  24. I think the worst case here is they end up with Bowers. He'd be nice fit if they hire Waldron, but they already have Kmet and can easily go get a 2nd TE for cheap in FA. You can argue that Bowers is very versatile and you can line him up anywhere though, but the Bears definitely have a bigger need at WR. I think Odunze is the most optimal pick at 9, followed by Fashanu, Turner, and Bowers.
