  1. QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 12, 2012 -> 12:30 PM) It's almost as bad as It's amazing how the ref is just standing there watching that.
  2. QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 12, 2012 -> 12:01 PM) Since everyone can get behind LeBron bashing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32o8uHmX36o I counted 6 steps.
  3. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:55 PM) Thornton should NOT be considered for the closer role. He just sucks at closing. Last year 3 saves, 4 blown saves. In his career, 20 saves and 25 blown saves. That is enough. He is fine as a set up man. Has to be between Crain and Reed right now. Unless the White Sox sign another reliever. Yeah, he was bad last year. But just so you know, his other blown saves mostly came as a setup man. That's not exactly fair to consider when evaluating him as a closer.
  4. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) Sox, Bears, Badgers. Bulls are still working themselves back. Do they gotta win 72 in a 66 game season to convince you they're legit? Haha.
  5. I hate how late the Clippers games are. I would have liked to watch this Douche City vs. Lob City match up, but I gotta get up tomorrow.
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:11 PM) And you know at least two, if not three, of those teams will get in with sub-.500 records. I'm not so sure of that actually. I think the Pacers will finish above .500 this year. Boston's at least a .500 team if they can stay semi-healthy. The Knicks aren't going to be below .500. The Sixers probably won't be either. Then you're left with the Hawks and Orlando. The only way I see Orlando going below is if they trade Howard. With the Hawks, you never know, but they're at least a .500ish team. But after those 8 teams, we probably won't see any teams near .500. Maybe Toronto or Milwaukee with a slight chance of Cleveland winning 25 or so games. But outside of that, it's a sea of awfulness.
  7. QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:05 PM) Rose was getting pissed off at Rubio during the game (specifically during that 20-2 run). Rubio forced a couple turnovers in a row and then proceeded to tear up the Bulls defense on the other end of the floor, which led to a terrible Rose three-point attempt IIRC. I wouldn't be surprised if it was "f*** you man" at all. It surprises me that Rose would talk s*** like that, especially to a guy like Rubio.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:04 PM) Yes, because two teams make a conference. You've basically got 2 legitimate contenders, a couple above average teams, and lottery s***. You can literally tell who the 8 playoff teams already. Heat, Bulls, Sixers, Celtics, Pacers, Hawks, Magic, and Knicks. There's a 95% those teams make the playoffs.
  9. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 07:29 PM) Alabama Crimson Tide (Football) Miami Heat Miami Marlins Yeah, why are you here?
  10. Sox, Bulls, Bears. Bears and Bulls can be flip-flopped based on the time of year it is.
  11. http://www.nba.com/games/20120110/CHIMIN/g...8#nbaGIboxscore Watch the end of the recap video. They blurred out Rose saying something to Rubio (I think it was Rubio at least, that's who was guarding him). I think I saw "f*** you man" from reading his lips (hard to do since it's blurred out a bit). It could have been "f*** yeah", but you'd think he would have said it with a little more expression.
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 09:33 PM) There is 0 reason why John Wall should not be awesome. He has a lot to improve on though. And it doesn't look like he spent the off-season doing any improving.
  13. Mike James could be our starting PG on Friday. Oy.
  14. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 09:26 PM) I believe Jordan had to do it once. Anyone see John Wall's lob attempt down 14 with under a minute to go. Nicely done, kid. I shouldn't have called Lucas inefficient, John Wall makes him look good. So much talent though. He needs better talent around him.
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 09:20 PM) 3 of our top 4 guards were down...and we won. Man the Wizards are bad. Need to be Bullets. Who did they lose from last year to make them THIS bad? They weren't this bad last year. Boozer and Noah...this is a night they needed to step up and earn their $10 million + contracts. Yet both disappeared, again. If Noah keeps playing this badly, Asik could steal the starting spot from him.
  16. That game was almost uglier than the first Atlanta game. Yeesh, I'll take it though.
  17. SCAL! And the Wizards are going to score under 70 (most likely). That's 3 teams the Bulls have held under 70 this year.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) Dude almost has a triple double, but yeah... The Wizards are a f***ing joke. He's put up nearly 30 shots though. AND he's played pretty much the entire game. He should have at least a double-double being the only PG for the Bulls.
  19. I'm looking to get a new phone. I'm kind of torn between the Galaxy S II and the Sensation 4G (Sensation already has ICS). The only thing that's stopping me from already deciding is the fact that the Sensation has an S-LCD screen, not an S-AMOLED. So for any of you that have had phones with both types of screens, is there a big difference? I know the AMOLED is far better with contrast and viewing angles and the S-LCD is slightly better in sunlight. But from daily use, do you notice anything that stands out?
  20. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 07:35 PM) Don't worry. Lucas is doing his Rose impression. 7 shots through the 1st quarter. And everybody thought Rose took bad 3 point shots. Lucas is 0-5 from 3.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 02:29 PM) It should just be called "Derrick Rose forever has turf toe". It's never going away, it'll just get worse at certain points. He's a beast, and I'm sure they'll just inject the area prior to tipoff as they did throughout the entire postseason last year. When did he get turf toe?
  22. lol Phil Rogers writes for BA now?
  23. Wow, Castro's our 3rd best prospect?
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 06:53 AM) Reds Sign Madson Only 1 year at 8.5 million? That's a steep drop from the 4/44 he was supposedly close to signing last year. Looks like Boras botched this one. Anyway, great deal for the Reds. They've had quite an off-season. Wow, sucks for Madson. He was due for a big payday, but only got 1/5 of the contract Philly had on the table.
