    QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 05:45 PM) I don't think we've listened to the same album. This isn't anywhere near Lupe's previous work. Not awesome. This is a hip-pop album. I think it's good that he's mixing it up a bit. He used to get little to no exposure because his music didn't sound good enough. Not enough catchy hooks, beats aren't as addictive, etc. That's why there was that feud he had with Atlantic - they thought he was lame and didn't produce any mainstream music. So he did what they told him to and IMO, it works. He still has his lyrics heavy songs - like Words I Never Said and All Black Everything, but at the same time, he has songs that will most likely attract a wider audience - like I Don't Wanna Care. I think he could have done better, but given the circumstances of him being under pressure from the recording company to produce more mainstream friendly music, I think it's a very good album.
  2. He's getting Andruw Jones bad.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 04:40 PM) Ozzie needs to be fired after this dreadful performance. You should post this after every loss.
  4. Corey Brewer's offense has been a black hole since...oh I don't know...his first year in the NBA. He has a career TS% of .436. He could be a good defender given his size, but the Bulls already have one of those in Ronnie Brewer.
  5. Gavin's only thrown 5 pitches? lol

    New Lupe album = awesome. Early album of the year candidate.
  7. 6.02214179 x 10^23 of something = Brent Morel. That's how awesome he is. If you don't understand this, think chemistry.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 12:16 AM) Rasual Butler is horrible and will have as much impact as Stacey King on the Bulls playoff prospects. So you're telling me his yelling of "Give it to me Big Sexy" didn't help motivate Kurt Thomas?
  9. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 12:09 AM) This bulls team doesn't need another 18-20+ PER guy. As long as he has the ability to spread the floor, handle the rock in a half court set for teams not to double team Rose and play decent defense from the 2 (not to mention add some length/athleticism for Rose) he'll be fine in this offense. Brewer can't shoot 3's or spread the floor. He does everything else you said pretty well. Butler's not a much better defender than Korver and isn't as good offensively. I don't see a huge point in the acquisition. But if it means less Bogans, it's alright with me. IMO, the Bulls need another 15 PER player (like Rip or Prince) who can shoot the 3 and play D. Butler isn't that.
  10. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 27, 2011 -> 10:42 PM) Morel = The Doom 'Shroom So he's a druggie?
  11. Butler's a 10-11 PER guy. Very meh. If this means he'll start over Bogans, I guess it would be alright.
  12. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 27, 2011 -> 07:19 PM) Nah, I don't like it. Brent's nickname around his friends seems to be B-Mo, but I am thinking we can do better. The official nickname giver has spoken.
  13. QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Feb 27, 2011 -> 07:12 PM) Just watched a clip on MLB.com where Ozzie pronounced Morel as "Mole." If Beckham = Bacon then does Morel = Mole? It could make sense since he'll be dug in at third and I'm sure he'll end up getting pretty dirty over there. Another Ozzie nickname...lol
  14. At least Ozzie didn't hit Rios 4th like he said he would earlier. That would have been terrible. If Dunn is going to hit third, Quentin should hit 5th, not Rios.
  15. QUOTE (T R U @ Feb 27, 2011 -> 03:04 AM) AKA he would have lost more than a couple million had he been bought out most likely He's due $25 million for the next two seasons. The buyout would have been $16 million I think (I'm not sure on this figure, could be $9 million as well). The Bulls can give him $3 million to play for the rest of the year. So he would have lost $6 million. Plus, you have to consider that all of that is up front and not over a span of two years.
  16. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 06:57 PM) No. Explain please. What Knightni said + 775.
  17. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 05:15 PM) Do we know how much of that money he has left? Financial management doesn't seem to be a strong trait in many NBA players. Those masks Rip wears must be very, very costly. lol As long as he's somewhat responsible, he should be swimming in money.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 05:06 PM) Maybe he saw that Chrysler Super Bowl commercial. Detroit is unique alright.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 04:54 PM) I'd personally rather have "a couple million". So would I. But he's made his money already.
  20. Ugh. Looks like Rip doesn't care about winning anymore. If he did, he would have accepted the buyout and signed with a playoff team. He would have lost a couple million in the process, but you'd think players would want to be a part of a winning team instead of rotting in Detroit.
  21. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 03:22 PM) I see what you did. Thar.
  22. lol @ Bobby's comment about how the White Sox called him just to show the fans that they tried. Outside of a few, I don't think anybody wanted Bobby back, especially for $6 million per.
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 25, 2011 -> 01:35 PM) better wait to see if the returns from Florida are legit... That poll just shows that there are very few Heat fans, even in Florida...
