QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 06:19 PM) The key is Toronto. If they're willing to deal Bosh for Chalmers, picks, and cash... then Wade and Bosh are off the table. Why the hell does Canada get to make the big decision?

I can definitely see Matt Holliday screwing his swing up.

B.J. Upton's actually had a whole season where he was really good. That never happened to Felix Pie.

QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:48 PM) RicBucher Not sure where the idea Tor won't S&T w/Mia came from, but it's not true. Calderon/Bosh for Chalmers, 2 future 1sts + trade exception: done. less than a minute ago via web The Bulls can offer something better...

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:48 PM) Don't 11000 posts make me more than "this guy?" I'm not that big a dick. I was trying to be nice man, come on. You're taking this the wrong way. BTW, more posts does not guarantee you a bigger shlong.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:50 PM) @WojYahooNBA - Cavs officials are confident of two things now, multiple sources say: Chris Bosh won't play for them next season, but LeBron James will. Bosh and Wade it is.

7/6 - Los Angeles vs. Chicago
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:49 PM) With all due respect, I think you've lost your mind. Nobody cares about his 400 home runs. Nobody and the Sox know that. Nobody would buy a ticket to see him hit it; nobody gives a f*** about his milestone. He is an awful hitter. This guy has it right.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:49 PM) Is there a reason why Bucher has tweeted the same thing 5 times a day for the last 3 or 4 days only worded differently? His only purpose seems to be downplaying the Bulls' chances of landing any of the big free agents. He's getting paid by the Knicks.

Why can't Viciedo hit 6th?

QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:38 PM) LaRoche's career number's in the AL are .263 BA and a .789 OPS. So what if it consisted of 6 games. . Still better than Teahen.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:38 PM) so when garnett and allen joined pierce in boston they didn't know they'd play for a championship? They must have been pissed. And apparently, if the Bulls got Bosh and Wade, they'd be like the TrailBlazers from two years ago. Is this guy seriously thinking this stuff is actually legit?

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:34 PM) I think he's just looking at things from the perspective of the players. If it weren't about money, this would all be sorted out by now. He seems to think that wherever these guys go, they will get no endorsement money, win no championships, etc. That might be the case for Bosh, but Wade and LeBron are beyond that.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:34 PM) That was nowhere near being close to his 140 character limit. I know, but it makes people do stuff like Gonzales just did.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:33 PM) So he's realistic. Maybe he's trying to act like Chris Bosh.

This is why Twitter sucks... The limit of 140 characters makes people think they're texting. We need to understand you!

Bucher must have no heart, all he talks about is money, money, then some more money.

QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:23 PM) LaRoche has better power but other than that, they are very simlar. Plus LaRoche has played mainly in the weaker NL. averge stats projected over a 162 game season for their career. LaRoche: AB-558, R-79,H-152, 2B-39, 3B-1, HR-26, RBI-92, BA-.272 Teahen: AB-588, R-81, H-158, 2B-34, 3B-6, HR-14, RBI-69, BA .268 I'm not saying Teahen is as good but I wouldn't give up a whole lot for LaRoche becuase in half a season he's not going to be significantly better than Teahan. At least, in my mind. You're forgetting that LaRoche's career OPS is .831. Teahen's? .748. Not to mention that LaRoche is a great second half hitter. I can care less for almost every number you put up there. Most of those are counting or team-oriented stats and reflect next to nothing about individual offensive performance.

QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:57 PM) Well, i think LaRoche's production won't be much better, if any, than Teahen's. So,using that theory, we might as well just wait on Mark. . My order of preference for guys we have mentioned is: 1-Fielder 2-Upton 3-Dunn 4-Berkman 5-LaRoche other possibilities that have had little, or no mention are: Corey Hart Ludwick Huff Overbay Fukudome Aramis Ramirez. You can't be serious. Mark Teahen's about as average as you can get. LaRoche's actually a GOOD offensive player and has been for his entire career.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:57 PM) Buehrle earned his 10/5 rights last night, im surprised this wasn't talked about on a bigger scale here on SoxTalk Because we know that as long as this team is in this race, Buehrle's not going anywhere.
